I have narrowed it down to 4 players who are A grade or has potential to be A grade from interstate teams that wear Blue and are low to mid 20's...
Wines - 25 port wears Teal which is blue/green
Touk Miller - 22 suns away top has blue on it
Will Brodie - 22 as above but is also an inside mid
Matt Crouch - 25 Crows wear navy blue, inside mid
Eagles A graders all too old.

Probably wrong and way off the mark but was fun looking 😂
So is your definition of A Grader ;)

Just skipped lightly through 80 odd pages, fmd. Can’t wait for this charade of a season to finish so the real fun can begin.

Been some solid pre-trade-season training from a few in here, should hold them in good stead for the cut and thrust that is Trade Week, which this year runs from 6.00am on October 25th until just before midnight on New Years Eve.

Are you sure it did happen?

Right or wrong, SOS made a statement, let's see if others have the courage to rebuke it
I think it will take courage to ignore it. Don't give it oxygen.

The impulse would be come and a give your (Liddle's) side of the story.

Better to concentrate on what important.

I.e. running the club.

Bailey Smith ?

He can come and learn from Sam Walsh.

I had a friend with the surname of Walsh who lived at number 18 Wash St in Coburg in the late 70s/early 80s.......eerie when I think of it now, on second thoughts, maybe i've just been locked up in the house for too long
We lived in Walsh Street, along with a certain Ex Carlton Footballer🙂

Again, I have zero issues with the CEO of the club making a decision over the top of the list manager. I dare say the CEO would be well across what his list manager is doing at the club. As far as the IT guys go, if Liddle needs to sack them and do something different, well I suggest it's his perogative as the CEO of the club. I dont have an issue with that either.
Sorry Brissy...
He has no f**kin place to interfere or overrule in list decisions or management, have no problem with him suggesting and recommending players to the list manager but he should keep his shit the f**k out of it, clearly not what his role is, done a fine job with the growth of the club but should keep outta decisions you have no clue, expertise or what your role club position actually is...

The other thing that I thought hurt a bit was the four man on ball rotation that could hardly raise a limp by the end of the year while Fisher, Gibbons, Cuningham and Martin sat in the forward line and were hardly used through there. Need to rotate some more players on the ball each week next year.
Absolute waste Cunners Martin and Fish not being heavily rotated, Gibbons is another that gets FA time which is baffling also.. We have more midfield options that seem too be considerably under-utilised...

It was four men trying to do the work of 6-7 each week which is completely unsustainable. I’m glad Walsh played out on the wing as often as he did rather than be crippled by being part of the on ball mix.
Walshy smashed it when rotating through the middle later on in the year, we underutilized our blokes this year Cunners Fish Martin Gibbons Seton all these kids missed out on giving the midfield some skill speed class and development, a year we wasted...

Arrow, if you're not going to answer the question then I don't know why you bother joining the discussion.

I'll start - I don't know what conversation did or didn't happen. But I haven't seen any comments from SOS that indicate he wasn't told what was happening before it happened - that seems to be an assumption you have jumped to on your own.

That's why I'm asking you what specific "communication" you're referencing, and what comments have led you to believe it didn't take place. Not picking a fight, trying to establish how you've come to your conclusion. But so far you've refused to engage, and just answer every question with the same question but flipped.

Fisher, SPS, Cuningham not good enough (not tough and physical enough) to play in the center. We'd give up too much contested ball going the other way. Would lose more than we would gain. It's up to these guys to prove they have stepped up and earn a spot in the center and they didn't do that this year.

Martin played there when not battling injury and played well. Gibbons is a high half forward, plus 1 or extra mid, what ever term you wish to use. No value rotating a player in that role through the center however he may have been useful if we changed his role, then we'd have to find someone to replace him as a high half forward...

Walsh is considerably tougher and has a greater physical game than the other mentioned players (bar martin and gibbons) and that is how he is able to play midfield. His attack on the ball is miles and miles ahead. That's what it comes down to.

If you hold back at all and aren't relentlessly physical you have no chance at becoming a decent midfielder at AFL level, you'll just be a liability. Skill is only half the requirement for playing midfield which many of our young guys have but they lack the other part and that needs to come from mental and physical maturity for them. For Walsh it comes naturally.

Just got to hope we recruit the right players and the young ones step up for next season.
