Think I just did

Won't make it as a flanker, needs to be lead to the ball, hence a run with ish role

Think that's pretty straightforward as an assessment
But I’ve seen posts trade him, which makes me think your being disingenuous

How often do Richmond's defenders sh** their pants panic and butcher the ball or give away an unnecessary free kick? Plowman does it more in one game than their whole team in a BQ1197season. I'm picking on him but Jones is almost as bad and Williamson is heading that way. Weitering has stopped doing it as much as he used to.

Jones is the worst by a mile.
I cringe when he is looking for a short kick in D50

It's a sliding scale.

Mate is good.
Buddy is sarcastic.
Champ is outright aggressive.

And if someone calls you neighbour, get ready to run in another direction.
Can’t believe you left out Pal
Much more aggressive than Champ, Pal

sorry they were posted here not on BF, Weitering &Jones of course we know are outstanding one on one.

So we have three of the top seven defenders left in one-on-one contests in the AFL.

An indictment on what is happening up the field, and a miracle our percentage isn’t in the toilet.

Wondering if the mystery player is still a Demon's player, maybe OOC?

Spargo
Hunt
Another?
A mystery is a riddle
Riddle rhymes with Liddle
Liddle worked at the Tigers
Tigers are Cats
Duncan plays for the Cats

It‘s happening people!!!

I do not care if he's not right for our list, or if we'd be poorly structured. I want Charlie Constable. I wanted him in his draft year, and I want him now.

He is the ultimate collateral, should Cripps ever choose to leave or be injured for any amount of time. His issue - taken from the Geelong board - is that his disposal is not up to their standards, but given their game - moving the ball suuuuper slowly by foot, whilst having no room inside a stoppage for a player not named Duncan, Dangerfield, Selwood or Ablett - it's unsurprising he's not up to their standards outside of what he does well.

So, get it done. He could result being a magnificent 2's player; he could wind up getting 40+ disposals and kicking 3 on GF day. What he is is a 191cm inside mid, who's not as good as Cripps is in terms of fitness or 360 awareness, but is a much better mark.

I could very much get on board with that. If Oliver is unattainable, I hope we look there.

That didn’t take long. No notation of season? Rounds? Opponents?

I note that these are all key defender with the exception of Rampe. Plow gets quicker, more dynamic forwards with very few potential chop outs. The big fella fight an arm wrestle, punch and it’s done more often than not.

This is an interesting though not particularly poignant data set given the actually outliers are Rampe and Plow. And Rampe is credited as one of the best Swan defenders of all time.

Not much belief left in the Cuningham jar for mine. He is about to turn 24 and still a mile off AFL standard. His best is easily good enough, but you just can't bring your best twice a year and virtually disappear in the others. His reliability is just terrible.

I really don't think we can waste more time on this big a tease. He's had ample time to work out ways to impact a game in various ways but still in far too many he produces close to zilch. He's not good enough to compete against most good midfields, and he's not smart/driven enough to find ways to contribute elsewhere.

At 19 i had belief, at 20 i had belief, at 21 i started to waver, at 22 i really started to waver, at 23 i'm pretty convinced. I'd be moving on to the Dow, Stocker, Philp, Honey, Kemp types to give them the same shot that Cunners has had. There is every chance a few of them will take their chance and be better contributers than him. Imo.

i didnt create the graph, just pointing out where id seen it.

If you want poignant perhaps you can dig up an old VHS of Love Story.

Bit late to the party on the F2G rumour but any chance the mystery player is de goey and that’s why he said he’s not overly happy about it due to the baggage he somewhat brings over?

I think JDG has agreed to terms for 2 years at Filth.

His preseason form in year 4 had me believe he'd arrived, but 2 seasons later and he still hasn't produced. Fortunate to have another 2 years, given next year should be make or break for him.
