If you thought the melts were big here after the Saad deal went through, the Collingwood board is about to go nuclear after that trade.
If BF crashes shortly, this is why...

it's worth it honestlyYou're making me to have a look...damn it.
It will come down to pre season form...Betts will shine playing in Melbourne.
Murphy will be the one to struggle for regular 22 imo.
And maybe even Ed.
"Just emailed club letting know of my disgust and have requested the cancellation of my memberships & won't renew until Ed & Bucks are gone...."Haha yeah. Good time to check it out.
There has to be more to Stephenson for it to work out like this.
And to think, there were people on here angry we didn't take him.
Slept with teammates wife?
Hit the missus?
Brawled with police?
Indecent assault?
Left pregnant wife for some rando?
Glassed that rando in the face with a wineglass?
On the nose beers big time?
Well, which is it?
Betts is cooked IMO. We saw that this year. He may show one or two glimpses of the old Eddie, but we'll see what he showed most of this season which was not a lot.
Murphy will play every game except for injury. Guaranteed. The former club captain isnt going to get shafted to the twos.

The pies board breaking records...first virtual environment to register on the richter scale.BF crashed for me just after the Stephenson news hit.
One black half tooth and the rest missing....great stuffI'm not one to check other teams boards but the Collingwood one was very amusing.
Just one gem below;
"Burn the f****** place down, I'm done!"
I’d be leaving out chooklotto Charlie for the moment and replace him with Gov/Kennedy or SOSWell, it looks like that's the end of trade period for us. Here is my best 22. Thoughts?
FB - Plowman, Jones, Newman
HB - Docherty, Weitering, Saad
M - Williamson, Cripps, Petrevski-Seton
HF - Martin, C. Curnow?, Gibbons
FF - Betts, McKay, Fisher
FOL - De Koning, Walsh, Williams
I/C - Casboult, E. Curnow, Setterfield, Newnes
Williams I see playing a mix of mid/half back, Casboult I see being our swingman through defence/ruck/forward, and Walsh I see playing a mix of wing/on ball. Newnes although just hanging on to his spot, should play on a forward flank delivering the ball inside 50.
DEPTH PLAYERS:
Pittonet - I don't think TDK will play the whole season himself. For those bigger opponents where strength is needed, I back in Pitto. When we need some athleticism I prefer De Koning.
Kennedy - Don't want to be too slow in the midfield. He will be the one to replace Cripps, Ed, or Setters from an injury.
JSOS - Don't want to be too tall up forward. Will be the one to replace Harry, Charlie, or Levi from an injury.
Cuningham - Should be played only as a midfielder where possible, but lack of opportunity hurts him. Could replace any of our outside mids/small forwards from an injury.
Marchbank - Missed almost 2 years from his neck and then knee injury. Don't want to rush him into it, and probably not a walk in start.
McGovern - I think he has some real talent, and could be a dangerous 3rd tall. But, it's time to stick your finger out mate and put in some effort. Play for the jumper and show that you're worth the $800k per year.
Murphy - Really tough but I can’t justify swapping him for anyone else, possibly Newnes just to get that senior experience, but we don't really need him. We have good depth folks.
Dow, O'Brien, Stocker, Kemp, Cottrell, Philp, Honey, Owies - I see it as only a big positive if they can push out the older guys. That includes Murphy is he starts, Betts, and even Ed Curnow. If they're good enough and better than those blokes, go for it and put some trust into them. Dow and O'Brien are on their last chances this year to make a serious impact at senior level.
Thoughts?
