I just think I saw something in BSOS. He was regularly getting lots of praise in the reserves scratch matches last year, but of course they didn't mean anything. Once you consider there was very little room for development in 2020, and he had a season ending injury too, they're just an unfortunate series of events capped off with COVID as a whole. A sh*t year for everyone really.
Was probably hard for him to even get close to a game with our defence being so well settled in comparison to the rest of the field. He wasnt going to move wieters & jones to get a crack. i hope he can find his feet at afl level some day. I’d be happy for him.

Well, unless they finish bottom, other clubs will bid for him at 1, and they’ll be cleaned out of 2021 draft picks.

I was walking about current Dacios, not the one soon to be drafted.

but rural, I’m pretty happy to see the bidding rules change with the younger brother apparently a potential #1 pick

Holy sh*t that kid has spunk considering his Dad's standing at the Pies!
Pull out all stops (he's supposedly the better of the 2 boys also) and get him to Princes Park!

Not that this was every going to happen, but if there was even a .01% chance, the Silvagni saga has ended any such opportunity. Must admit, Tom did very well to convince the kid to be a Carlton supporter, even though we struggled through those times. Amazing friendship,

About 8 years until Buddy runs out of contract, has time
Time time time is on your side, yes it is...

If he does somehow make it back onto a list then i see him playing as a forward, from the limited times i watched him live he seemed to look more natural there...

Whaat.. Kemp out for 10-12, ******* hell.

We've copped at least one major "suck a lemon injury to important players " every year since before even the rebuild started - beyond frustrating - this injury is a major setback for Kemp and the Club add him to Charlie now and whoever else will join the list bfore even game one.:tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

Kennedy Mk II
Bit of a stretch, Kennedy went pick 4, played senior games for Carlton.

Ben went pick 70 and has a notable last name and is very very raw.

I would love for Ben to succeed and prove Carlton wrong, but I don't see him becoming one of the best in the league.

(im dumb ignore this)

Think the Sydney, former Hawks version ;)

Or is it meant to be a reference to Sydney's Josh Kennedy?

Big difference being traded versus being one of the early delisting's and then a late pickup for the reserves side, didn't even get a rookie list spot. I guess maybe if he plays well he could be upgraded in one of the SSP drafts?

I reckon he will wait until the end of the season, see who is the top 3 picks, and if he likes all 3 clubs (and doesn’t mind heading interstate perhaps), he will nominate the draft because he will most likely go in the top 3. Otherwise he will be a Collingwood player.

It’s horrible news. But I suppose if you are ever going to need an 8-10 week layoff, there are worse times to get injured than 8 weeks before the season starts. After that, Brodie has 24 weeks of the home and away season to get his fitness levels up and have a crack at the senior side. I would love to see him targeting Round 6-8.

Will be a Collingwood player. Take it to the bank.
