Yes but the PSD is pretty slim pickings usually. It's not like the National Draft - there may not be a lot of choice.

No one really wants to be there and whether he wants to be there or not North are in for a world of pain over the next few years and couldn't see why they wouldn't just grab him anyway and back in that they can make him love the place.

What have they got to lose ? - a 5 year contract maybe but at least some trade collateral for coming years at no cost (in terms of picks).

Also clubs have to nominate for the PSD. They don't automatically get a selection. Who says that they even nominate? If the list is full, they can't be in it.
