Can someone please explain to me how a team would trade a player that is OOC! Cheers, just received some info but want to understand that it actually can occur. Don’t ask for more either, as like credit, refusal often offends. I have my ITIK reputation to uphold.

Still able to be traded

Or, wait and if player is delisted ( because he refuses to return), pick up as a DFA. If not delisted, head to a draft

Like what is happening with Cameron

Contracts run until after the trade period, so they are still "in-contract". The contract ends before the draft

Curious - can someone explain to me why * should and can split one of their early picks, even though Caldwell & Dunkley have nominated them but we couldn't or shouldn't because the nomination came early? I know I'm stupid and just don't understand trading but FMD. Anyone?????

Coz Dodo...

Wow, * offering no more than pick 8 for Dunkley?

I once saw someone start the bidding on a $5M mansion at $500K.

It was hard to say for sure what the auctioneer said under his breath, but a good chance it was 'piss off, Adrian'....

We're surely not squeezed that tightly...

Martin 1st year front loaded - gone
Gov first 2 years front loaded - gone
Simmo + Kreuzer - gone

Doubt Williams, Saad and Fogarty will consume much more than that.

tbh I don't really know, I just made up a number.. probably isn't that tight, but probably still too tight for Oliver?

I though that AFL contracts as a standard rule, ran to October 31st. There must have been an amendment this year to allow for extraordinary circumstances as all blokes would technically be OOC and not under any club control.

what do you all think Dunkley is worth anyway?

It was a similar kind of ending with Shiel the other year, i feel like they will get done.

Dogs certainly entitled to ask for more for a contracted young gun than a singular pick that will get swallowed up by a player they'll get anyway.

I guess Dunkley isn't going to *

What happens with Treloar then?

It's like * don't even want Dunkley.
Even though Dogs wouldn't accept a single first rounder, you would think * would at least offer #6, given that it would give the Dogs more points to match the JUH bid, meanwhile it would not affect the Scum's picks in any way, they would still be able to pick the exact same 2 players.
Crazy.
But then, that's Dodo.

But Dodo couldn't get that done. He had to be asked to leave the room as he wouldn't cough the picks.

I understand Richardson finalised it.
