You get the feeling we’ll be in Sydney for the next couple of weeks.

Given we play the 2 Sydney sides in our next 3 games (both drawn up there) this would be the sensible option if we have to relocate temporarily.

The Eagles game is crucial and it would be a disaster if we have to travel to Perth for that. If it can't be as scheduled at the MCG, then the SCG is a reasonable alternative.

Exciting on paper. But need more effort from the guys - leaving out the intensity of Parks and Cottrell means the others need to step up. Need more two way running too.

Agree, also need a game plan that players can execute, individual talent in each position just isnt enough.

Other areas of concern are ruck, full back and small defender.

WA has closed the border - unlikely any Vic team will be travelling there for some weeks.

I'm hoping that they don't make us play Sydney GWS then our wc freemantle - they did that to us last year I think we had to do more quarantines than anyone else

Not sure where to post this, so please feel free to move if appropriate...

First, thoughts to all affected by lockdown, and those who have been materially affected. There's always a bigger picture...

Second, with regards to games for us, would it be possible, given we're already in NSW, and making an assumption of a best case scenario, of playing Sydney this weekend, then staying and GWS following weekend, then the bye, then WC (in Vic) and then Adel (in (Vic)...? I know this would involve other shuffling of games, but given all this comes around the time of the bye, is it doable?

You would hope with the WA decision made at 10am, that we couldn't be sent there, but are we really any different to Essendon, who will play there this weekend?

Both sides tested negative and then left the state before any lockdown. Apparently they need another negative test upon arrival, then allowed to train etc.

The worry is we become a perfect candidate if we "quarantine" in Sydney for 14 days (moving either the bye or GWS game forward), to actually be allowed to go to Perth.

Having already played Freo works in our favour - fly in fly out for a single game is problematic. AFL will prefer to create hubs where teams can isolate together for multiple games. WCE are due to play Richmond after us ... and the Tigers are likely to be playing in Sydney this weekend also. Think it makes sense for WCE coming to Sydney for a series of games.

What you're saying makes sense, but we do still have a return fixture against Freo later in the year, leaving us vulnerable to AFL shenanigans.

The byes come at a good time to at least offer a bit of flexibility.

Guess what ive got coming in the mail?

Same. Jumped on the club site only a few hours after it was posted and sold out of S, M, L and XL.
Had to order through Puma website, which apparently has all sizes available. Odd that the club site runs out so quick, but they don't/can't redirect traffic to the Puma site.
Anyway, was despatched yesterday, so hoping to maybe see it tomorrow or Monday.

Even more odd that the club doesn't have an arrangement where all orders go direct to Puma, with a cut going to the club. Why double-up on the distribution process?
