I would be incredibly disappointed if we get Voss. He was a failure at Brisbane with a decent list and he doesn't strike me as the kind of person who can eloquently get their point across. Take a look at his Brownlow performance when the AFL were paying tribute to Robert Harvey, it was one of the most cringe things I've ever seen. Just imagine him inspiring our players like that?

Was always going to happen eventually. Next year probably his last, so good to get a replacement in before there's a hole in the list.

He said he had no intention of coaching in 2022 while Teague was still employed.
His manager said that he planned to spend the year travelling and studying, while Teague was still in the job and it's damn near impossible to travel.
If he did have interest in the prospect of coaching us, he was effectively saying no to a job that didn't exist.
Had he said that he was open to coaching in 2022, and then Teague got sacked and possibly another coach or two got the arse in anticipation of luring him to their club, Clarko would look terrible for causing a contracted coach to lose his job.
To my knowledge, he hasn't really said anything about his intentions since the actual vacancy has appeared. While he technically doesn't have to, especially if his original statement was true, the changing landscape has only created more speculation and his silence, amid that speculation, is deafening.
Again, while he doesn't have to, he could very easily shut it all down by releasing a statement through his agent along the lines of "I understand that there has been ongoing and increased speculation regarding my plans for next year, given the availability of the Carlton coaching job, which wasn't in play when I first gave comment, and the new found stability of their backroom operations, through a revised board and new CEO, but I would like to reiterate that I still have no intention of coaching AFL football in 2022".
