This just cracks me up everytime is pops up. Its gold!
I’m a humanitarian, rockz, and I love to make people laugh.

In unprecedented times like these we could all do with a chuckle.

Not unhappy with the appointment of Voss if I’m being perfectly honest here, and I’m sure our passionate supporter group will certainly be divided on his selection as our new head coach.

But I believe he is EXACTLY what this group needs. An extrovert. A bit of an alpha dog, a bloke that will NOT pander, won’t mince his words, a bloke that will COMMAND respect and will stick to his guns. He’s one of the past champions of the AFL, he played under Mathews, he won flags, he’s had his shot at the Lions and hopefully he’s learnt from his previous mistakes, and he barracked for Carlton as a kid, I’m backing him in to get us up and about because we ****ing need it!

ARNA BAGGERS! IM PUMPED!

First thing Voss should be doing is identifying which players won’t go in as hard as he did.

After the first training session, those guys are out the door.
We’ll be left with a squad of 4 or 5, Voss was without peer as a tough nut.

Lets also cull the list of players made of glass, aka human splints.

Pretty disappointing…I think Ross would have been better than Voss…In which case the club should have done what it took to get him…time will tell
Love to know what happened there. Did they get back in touch?

Did you think he was a horrible kick every time he kicked a goal for us?
Sorry but I find it hard to take when pot shots are fired at Ed.
Such a loyal player who gives a billion per cent every game .

FWIW I absolutely love Ed’s effort and he’s a great role model for the younger players.

However his kicks inside 50 often turned the ball over and the ball went straight back past him.

I reckon his best value to the club is Captain (& assistant coach) of VFL team to speed the development of younger guys.

A few experienced players have done that in years gone by at various clubs.

Not particularly glorious role - but done well it’s extremely valuable to the club.

I agree his kicks into the f50 hurt us often and he seems to have a lot of them (due to his work ethic and running to the right spots)

However, do you reward effort and a worse disposal or good disposal and poor effort?

i know which i would rather, Ed.

Let the others with good disposal learn work ethic and toughness before sending Ed out to pasture.

Congratulations Michael Voss. One of the reasons why I’ve somewhat changed my stance on his appointment is that it is the unpopular choice.

the panel backed by cook have made a bold decision, one they knew would be at least initially unpopular with the members and even opening the door for media ridicule by the media for their process.

there’s so many ‘do you know how many times Harry Potter was rejected by publishers before JK got her deal’ type situations in just that casting Voss as other teams reject, means nothing to me.

I’m all aboard the Vosswagon, got my stash, thanks Jim Morrison avatar guy.

let’s go blues!! 2022!! run through the midfield both ways. Heck run backwards!! you guys gonna be ripped and pumped!! Bring it on!

Both of our new recruits look comfortable. Vossy even mentioned right off the bat that he supported the club as a kid haha

We cannot underestimate how much - as Luke said - of a reset this is. 3 x new huge appointments in key positions and what will be a completely new (save for Power/O'Keefe) coaching staff.
