Could we send pick 6 to Geelong, they send Clark and one of their seconds to Freo? Maybe late swaps to smooth out egos? Freo get a best 22 player, we don't have to spend more than 6 to get Cerra in, Geelong get to start rebuild?

Simply put, Cerra is worth much more than Clark and a second round pick.

We should let pick 6 go, and if we can trade a player for useful picks, then so be it. At the end of the day, we wont be using all of Cuningham, Setterfield, Kennedy, Dow, SPS, Williamson. If we get Cerra we can afford to trade at least 1-2 of these players.

Still not convinced Cerra will come. By all reports he was very happy with Dees presentation and yes I know it will be hard for them to do a deal but I think in these times if a player nominates a club they will get there 99% of the time

I’m actually a little surprised that we haven’t heard murmurings or seen reporting that one of Fisher or SPS want to leave the club. That’s not to say it won’t happen, but it sounds like these players want to stay despite our so called rudderless board and club.
