It’s a nice gag but there is very little to suggest that is the case.
It’s a bit like the “Carlton doesn’t develop players” argument however there are zero examples of players who left the club due to a lack of opportunities and subsequently became much better players because they were supposedly in a “better system” at their new club.

I'm not suggesting they become better coaches at their new clubs. Just observing that we send them back from whence they came.

We are not the only job who have done this. Brisbane did it with Voss and rumours suggest he may follow Ratten in getting a second go as head coach.
