Boxing Day Crowd Prediction

Depends on the weather come Boxing Day morning. I saw the forecast for Christmas Day is perfect and warm, hopefully Boxing Day is similar. The match four years ago (with the prospect of Warne's 700th wicket) lost the first session or so to rain, I think that prevented a world record Test cricket crowd - didn't make it over 90,000.

IF there's empty spots in the Member's stands you need to kick those knobs out. Sick of seeing that crap.
This is funny. What about the people in the general public who have seats but don't show up? That is ok?

I went to that match and it was also about -20 degrees, we traveled over with just shorts and shirts and nearly died haha. At 1-1 and the boys up and about you would hope 90k plus... CA need to do the right thing too if Ponting is out and bring in White or Hodge and make them captain just to pump the Vics up!

Day 1 is not quite sold out - just checked on Ticketek and Gold tickets are still available.

The Brisbane Cricket Ground members didn't turn up to the Ashes and there were a lot of good empty seats!

Should be 90,000 people for Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test!

Im heading over on an early flight for Boxing Day. If theres anything less than 95,000 there - assuming the weather is good - it should be considered disappointing IMO given our return to form, and the series level at 1-1. Cant wait for next weekend, I just hope Tiger don't f*** up the flight over in the morning otherwise heads will roll!
