I'd love Brad Green at Geelong.

Mark Blake ---> St Kilda

Pick 9 ---> Geelong.

Pick 9 ---> Melbourne

Brad Green ---> Geelong

The best half forwards to ever walk the earth in the one team. Stokes, Stevie Johnson, Chapman and Green.

I hate to break it to you but Green hasn't played as a half forward since his early days. Even then he was really an undersized full forward. Now he's a winger but yes, he'd make a good half forward too I'd believe as he'd struggle to crack it in your midfield.

That'd be a great trade from Melbourne's point of view but I do reckon it'd be bad culture to trade Green. He, Bruce and Johnstone were all given the soft tag at the start of the year and Green was the only one to shake himself of it and improve this year.

Melbourne would be stoked with that result.

No surprise we're interested. Swannies fans have been talking about him all season as a very good fit and i've been one of them talking the possibility up.

Soon find out if he wants to come to Sydney. Many Dees fans also had him as quality trade bait so there's no point pretending he's now untouchable or some sort of amazing gun all of a sudden...he has done and proven little.

Went into tradeweek wanting "outside midfielders" as a priority so Mattner + Green would suit.

I'd like to see it happen and would be prepared to offer up some quality....Green needs a new club and has been underperforming where he is as far as i'm concerned.

Green for Jude straight swap.
I think it's fair...outside for inside, suits both teams...Jude is a bit older but has waaaaaaaaaaay more credits (how many Brownlow votes? Heaps).

Jude the super-desciplined for a player who needs a little more consistency.

Good swap.

I'd rather have Bate, though. :D

Lol are u suggesting we swap a player who in his 2nd season just completed finished 3rd in the b & f for Jude Bolton a solid player clearly on the decline

You do realise our recruiting manager Craig Cameron said we'd only trade Green for "something special". Bolton, at this stage of his career is certainly not that. He turns 28 in 2008. 183cm, 84kgs. 187 games. Crash n Bash inside midfielder. Good at stoppages. Good tackler. Slow. Poor disposal. Form on the decline.

No thanks.

Hardly concurs with stated strategy of trading for picks and building around our 23 and under talent.

I rate Brad Green highly. I wanted to get him last year.

I think he would fit in very well at the Swans.

His raking left boot would also suit playing at the SCG.

Unlike so many on our list he has exceptional disposal and exquisite skills.

I would be happy if the Swans gave the Demons something to really think about before Friday.
