You're limiting yourself if you stick to one brand religiously. If there is a better alternative out there how would you know?

I only ever had Nokias, then one broke and a friend lent me an HTC for the remainder of my contract. I now have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (great phone), but there's every chance I'll go for an iPhone next time.

The onus should be on quality/reliability rather than variety for something you'll use so much.

Assuming you're on a mid-range contract of $50, it can be an expensive decision to choose a phone you don't like.

I avoid anything from LG like it was Death it'sself

As for other things

Soft Drink-Coke or Mountain Dew
Petrol-Caltex
Fast Food-Hungry Jacks
Computers-Microsoft
MP3 Player-Ipod
Bourbon-Makers Mark/Woodfords Reserve
Clothes-Anything i can buy which is reasonable quality without the giant ass brand on it, making me a walking billboard.

Avoid

Fast Food-KFC
Petrol-Shell
Soft Drink-Pepsi
Bourbon-Jack Daniels, Jim beam, If it's under 45 unless on sale, It's usually shit.
Computers-Apple

I will say this, i find the love for Apple sickening, since i distain the customer service, the way they sell their products, but damn the Ipod is not not only the industry standard, but your fooling yourself if any product is in the league of it.

As for Consoles, It's ******ed, While i wouldnt be caught dead buying an Xbox, they are only a means to play the game, I find Nintendo are the most innovative and produce the highest class of games so i've always bought the Nintendo console, and in a year or two bought the Sony one when they end up slashing 200 dollars from the release price.

I'm simply curious: why?

The Coles in my town is in a pretty feral area, and the shop itself is just kind of, i don't know, daggy. I'm sure not all Coles are like that, but ours is generally considered Woolies' feral little brother.

I now have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (great phone), but there's every chance I'll go for an iPhone next time.

Why would you downgrade for your next phone?

For me, anything LG gets avoided like the plague after one too many crap experiences. Curse their well advertised crap.

Parents got an LG 42" plasma in 2006..... by 2008 it had problems, they still use it as a spare tv though.

My last 5 pairs of sneakers/basketball shoes have all been Converse. They last me forever. Not going with anyone else for a while.

Had a pair (my first bball pair in 1994), lasted until 1998. It's funny though as in recent years while i have stuck with Nike since 1998.... since 2004/2005 i have gone through a pair of basketball shoes every 2 years to under a year, and in the case of the pair i purchased earlier this year.... less than 6 months. Nike's quality has dropped considerably, i'll have to look at Converse again :thumbsu:

Undies: Bonds
Can't go wrong.

I choose Rio for my underwear wearing needs :D

In regards to other things, i generally float between brands. I could be a sponsors dream, or worst nightmare...... i'll wear any combination (well aside from Nike shoes), but i will rarely pair up matching brand shorts with the shirt, sometimes i will be "normal" and wear the same brand shirt and shorts (including if they are the same design). But i could wear an adidas shirt with nike shorts, or vice versa.

I get my bread and rolls from Bakers Delight now, i used to get them from a local bakery but they shut down a while back.

I was a Sega "fanboy" in the 90's, switched to a Playstation fanboy from the late 90's until the mid 2000's. Wouldn't say i'm a complete Microsoft Xbox fanboy, but i do spend more time on that console than i do the Playstation 3.

A few other odds and ends:
I swear by TDK blank media (including single layer, dual layer and blu-ray).
Panasonic make the best dvd-hdd recorders (granted none are truly long lasting).

Asics footy boots and joggers always.

Used to only ever own Nokias but now an iPhone user.

All cricket gear is screaming cat.

Only ever go to Caltex petrol stations don't know why I do that.

I guess one of the only ones i have is Nikon for cameras, although I've only owned two. My first proper SLR was a Nikon (chose it mainly cause it was a good deal) and because a lot of the accessories and lenses are compatible it made sense to stick with them. I suppose it's almost a forced brand loyalty.

I'm pretty torn on my love for Apple. On one hand I love their products and buy most of what they come up with. On the other hand, I know that as a company they're not quite as ethical as a lot of people want to think...

LG in general is a terrible company. Every person i know who has sold LG products have basically towed the line in Whitegoods they do alright, Anything else they have terrible quality control over. The standard warrenty for LG products is 3, compared to everyone else you probably only need 1

More intrested in pumping out as many products rather then Quality products

Would be just as bad as Microsoft. Both companies plagurise Idea's from other area's and are hardly paragon companies. However i find People who mock the others for use of the systems as terrible people.

Try to avoid brands when it comes to clothing etc.

Digestibles however . . .
