By early training reports, Jordan Croft.

A 201cm player who runs close to a 6 minute 2km time and turned up to day 1 of pre-season in really good shape - easy to forget he was a first round pick.

Probably because you guys have 937 gun KPF prospects. :(
Liam Jones is 137 years old though and Croft did spend a bit of time behind the ball at VFL level before being shifted forward again.
Croft's great in the air too but his kicking at goal makes baby Jesus cry. I prefer him in defence.

There are different levels of breakout for me. You could go from being a talented kid to a really good player or you could already be a good player and become a star.

From us the 3 that standout for different reasons are Ollie Hollands, Tom Dekoning and Adam Cerra.

Hollands has been solid doing a sacrificial wing role in his first few seasons. I could see him becoming a really good player as a running half back. Cerra is already a good player but has never had a dominant season. Could be All Australian level if he stays fit. TDK has shown superstar potential in patches but has also never had a dominant season. He could be the best ruck in the league, if he maintains the form he showed at times in 2024, for a whole year. Most confident in TDK if he stays fit.

From other teams', Ashcroft is one that stands out for me.

From The Cats I’ll go with Shannon Neale and a player from another team I reckon The Bombers Caddy, so wish we picked him.

Ryley Sanders is another that stands out but might be a year early since he's the clear 5th option behind Libba, Bont, Treloar, Richards

Have to wonder if they'll move Bont/Treloar around the board more

Good call. He's far too good for VFL and was essentially a ready made player when drafted. If he gets decent midfield time he will have a great season.
