O Henry

Geelong give:

Pick 25 - Collingwood
Cooper Stephens - Hawthorn (not sure he's played a game for them?)

Geelong receive:

Oliver Henry (20 year old coming off a 28 goal season)

Collingwood receive:

Tom Mitchell (29 years old)

L Schultz

Collingwood give:

Pick 34
2024 first round (currently 7

Collingwood receive

L Schultz (27 years old)

The stats below compare the seasons of L Schultz and O Henry - they're similar in a lot of ways except that Henry is young and will likely improve while old Schultzy is at the peak of his 'powers".

Henry has also kicked more goals than any Collingwood player this year (22 goals so far, tied with Bobby Hill). He's Geelong's 4th best goal kicker.

Henry was a first rounder in his draft year while Schultz was stuck somewhere around Pick 60 in the fourth round. Unfortunately not every club has Wellsy and Schultz is no Lawson Humphries.

Flogpies will try and comfort themselves by saying Henry leaving got them the flag in 2023 - ignoring the Bradbury nature of their "achievement' despite their list management blunders.

This bit of trade magic is sure to bite them on the arse in the lead up to Tasmania's entry.

And to top it off they're going to re-sign the genius behind it 😇

What a **** up

Yep pick 7 and 34 for maybe 4 years of the same output their departing 20 year old was giving :$
Is there also an example to see Jack Ginnivan V Lachie Shultz? It would be embarrassing if Ginnivan has 5 more disposals per game, 120m more metres gain per game and more score involvements and contested possessions per game.

I'd check but that would involve Hawthorn and I'd feel dirty.

But I agree it would be an enormous blunder on the part of Collingwood
