What do people think about Jared Brennan? I wasn't interested in him at all before the season started but he has got me thinking. Not only because of his great scores in round 1 and 2 as we all know this doesn't necessarily mean anything but it is his natural ability, new role and what appears to be a new attitude.

It may have just sucked me in but give it a read and let us know what you think.

Can Brennan do a similar thing to Swan and Watson last year? We all know he's got talent...
 
Im going to take the risk with him and trade Monfries for him.

But the thing i dont like is that i would then have 5 lions players in total with Lappin, Black, Riska, Adcock and then Brennan. Is that a good thing?

I dont think that 5 players from the one team is too bad. The main thing to look at is to see if those 5 players score well when the team loses. If so I wouldnt worry about it.

I am thinking about Brennan but not sure. If he gets the same role as thursday night then he would be a cert call up for my team. However, it may change, and I am worried that they only have 9 more games at the gabba...

Not sure (sorry lame answer)

I would wait to the round is over, see if anyopne else is worth getting, you may get some injuries etc.

Brennan at this stage looks like he will improve more than monfries, however Monfries won't really go backward over the season so depends on how many trades you want to save.

Im looking to get my team right in the early stages of this season and then just trade when a player gets seriously injured. Ill have a look at other players around that price range but its slim pickings.

Had Brennan on my team last year and he drove me nuts with his inconsistency. This change of position seems to have changed things but I think Monfries still has a lot of upside ahead of him.

Would have a hard look at Monfries this weekend to see how he performs before making the trade.

I think ill persist with Mon.

Heres a new idea. Kerr is tearing it up ATM and is on something crazy like 60 at quarter time. Stevens has hardly touched it.
Stevens for Kerr.

Malceski for Griffen. I had a look at Malceski through the pre season and didnt expect him to score that high, even though he was hyped up alot by his swans team mates. Comes out today with a red hot 161! I think ill give Griff one more year to consolidate a spot in the dogs midfield. Theres so much competition for a spot around him.
