This board is hilarious. Yeah I'm new here, so that obviously means I'm like every other Carlton supporter or I've only started watching footy in the last few weeks? Clearly you know nothing about AFL unless you have posted on bigfooty for years!

Also, thanks for telling me what I think.:thumbsu: We have no where near the best list, we are the reigning wooden spooner's for christ's sake! Our list is far inferior to Melbourne's but that's not what we've been discussing. We've been discussing whether Murphy, one of the best players on our list, would walk into the Melbourne side or any other team in the comp, something which Keithy George, an unbiassed Demons supporter (hallelujah!) has admitted above, and which is obvious to just about any fair-minded football follower.

Please try to keep up. ;)
Now listen here boy, you asked for a reality check earlier in the thread, I was just letting you know what has been going on around here for the summer. Didnt say you were like every other blue supporter, but the majority of blues fans do keep going on about how superior there list is, and how good they think they are.
This argument is in retaliation to blues fans trying to say that Mclean is just an average player, and Walker is far superior to him. Gotta fight fire with fire on these boards.

No I'm deadly serious.

Who or What is Kade Simpson?

Is he similar in class to other Carlton sardines pretending to be AFL footballers like Bannister, Teague, Wiggins, Hackland, Sultana O'Hairpin, Carazzo and Cameron Cloke

If your deadly serious my suggestion is that you don't post on forum boards. Not all that many have a great clue but at least they know something. To not know who Kade Simpson is, a guy who toured Ireland last year, tells me you don't actually follow footy as no-one can lack that much knowledge.

You must have seen him perform well twice last year, as it did most others on the team, .

Who is Kade Simpson?

Don't you mean Sean Simpson who played for Geelong.

Never heard of Kade Simpson.

Does he warm the bench for Northern Bullants 2's? :)

He is the player who had 22 disposals & 8 marks in Carlton's Round 1 victory against Melbourne last season & then followed it up with 15 disposals & 7 marks in Carlton's Round 18 victory over Melbourne. I can understand you not having noticed him, he runs so much quicker than anyone at Melbourne, so he would probably appear as just a blur.

Aaron Davey would have something to say about that. Shows that you are a complete tosser.

Err guys, I was trolling...re-Simpson.

Ofcourse I bloody know who Simpson is!

He's just another product of Carlton mediocrity.

Aaron Davey is a fine player & quick in bursts. But I'm talking about maintaining a level of pace over 4 quarters. Davey, for the most part operates forward of the centre of ground, therefore is mostly involved when the ball is in the Demon's attacking half of the ground. That means he only has to operate in bursts. On the other hand Simpson operates at both ends of the ground & requires sustained speed for the duration of the game. That is the difference.

He must have screwed your sister/mum/gf or are you just jealous of him?

He'd walk into the Dee's side. Only a poor, deluded, moron like you would think otherwise.

I think hes pretty ordinary as well to be honest. hes a goer but not much else. Dees have a very good midfield Johnston,Bruce, Green, mclean, malony, macdonald so i cant honestly see a spot for him. Bate will also be a more than handy midfielder and is already in my opinion better off talent wise than Carrazo will ever be

also its become clear after reading this thread that carlton must have the most talented wooden spoon side in the history of the game.

Talented among the youth at the club, but lacking enough quality mid-age & older players. But certainly talented enough not to have lost to Essendon in the last 3 encounters between the 2 clubs.

You obviously didnt see the flash play last year. He was up on the wing, moving forward and back, and this was in alot of games. I noticed it a fair bit, and admired the way he went about it. This year I dont expect to see him play forward at all, hes ready for the wing fulltime instead of 50/50 after last years performance. Yze will play Daveys small crumbing role in the pocket, and hed bloody better do it well, as Im sick of him having so many crap performances.
So sorry but you are wrong.

The flash? :p

Kade doesnt have a right foot.

Yes, he is a bit one-sided, but his left foot is a lot better than Judds right foot, so it kinda compensates. A brilliant midfielder, with a deadly penetrating left foot. You'll see another high-talent left foot midfielder debut with the Blues shortly - Grigg. A tall (190cm) midfielder, with explosive burst speed and a massive left foot kick. Pushing hard for selection already. The Blues talent depth is enormous. :)

Better kick than Judd?

I could name a few, doesnt mean much when Judd's left rips Kades right.

Yes. Judd has great distance with his kicks, but everyone knows his kicks into the forward 50 are a bit "long bomb and hope" i.e. lacks the precision of some other midfidlers. Judd is a superstar, and carried the Weagles in 2006, but with the media hype, we tend to gloss over his weaknesses. :)
