Hi everyone.

Listen I hate the bombers, ever since I sat there bawling my eyes out as a kid in 84 when Leon Baker and Tim Watson went ballistic in that last quarter.

However, I am not here to troll.

I have seen your club chasing Brent Prismall over the last couple of days, and I just wanted to let you know something about him.

I have dealt with Brent in a professional element outside of football, and I've got to tell you, he is one the loveliest kids you could meet.

He is polite, courteous, no airs and graces and very family orientated. It was incredibly easy to deal with him about anything in the world, and his maturity was way beyond his age.

Perfect role model and leadership material down the track, because you could still sense that inner steel in side of him that all driven to succeed athletes have.

I am not a family member or friend for any doubters, but I will finish by saying that I would love to see him running around in the brown and gold, and he was never given a proper chance at Kardinia Park, and I hope you guys pick him up, to shove it up those idiots down there, that never took his skills serious enough for the player that he is.

Good luck, and even in black and red, I will cheer him on next year:thumbsu:

Hope you get him:thumbsu:

Gee thanks BR, I hope Priz gets traded too as he is too much of a talent to waste in the magoos or as an emergency but to call the GFC idiots for not playing him ahead of Bartel, Ablett, Corey and Selwood is just stupid.

He is a pure midfielder and when any of those were out he was played, in all honesty he wouldn't have been going anywhere and would've played everygame had Selwood not dropped in our laps 2 years ago.

The GFC know exactly how talented he is, that's why they will not accept just anything for him. Now run along and blow your salary cap on Ryan OKeefe

nice post but its not very likely he'll end up at Essendon mate.

Don't see why not- I reckon (after what I've read) that's he's pretty much a certainty to come to Essendon...

Or have I been spun a web of s**t?

nah its probably most likely he will end up at melbourne atm. frmo what i have heard they have offered there 3rd rounder which is earlier then ours. so unless we offer pick 23 is seems unlikely he will end up at essendon. tbh i wouldnt want to give up pick 23 for him

But would cats send Prismall to a club he doesn't wanna go to so they can have a pick 4 places higher?

Actually Prismall's manager said he would be happy to go to either club.

MELBOURNE has emerged as the possible future home of Geelong midfielder Brent Prismall, as the Cats weigh up deals with the Demons and Essendon.

Day three of AFL trade week passed yesterday with the first deal still to be struck, but while the decision on Prismall's future has now been taken out of the 22-year-old's hands, he would be happy to go to either club.

"It's coming down to the clubs, to get a deal that suffices Geelong," Prismall's manager Tom Petroro said yesterday.

"It's back in the clubs' hands. He (Prismall) has an interest in both clubs (Essendon and Melbourne).

"We have two clubs that are extremely interested and we're just working through it. I wouldn't say one (club) or the other (is more likely)."

Prismall rejected a two-year deal offered by Geelong, but Petroro said it had nothing to do with money or the length of the deal, but about where he would get more game time.

"It's about opportunity. Brent's decision has nothing to do with the Geelong Football Club, they've been fantastic, they've been outstanding," Petroro said.

The Cats will weigh up a deal with the Bombers involving speedster Andrew Lovett, although money is believed to be the main problem, or with Melbourne.

The Demons, who finished last, have the first draft pick of each round to offer prospective clubs.

Prismall has told Geelong he wants it to deal exclusively with Essendon but, presuming Lovett is not part of the trade, the Cats have so far been unable to agree with Essendon.

Essendon has offered only pick 39 for Prismall, which Geelong has not accepted.

Looks close, who knows where he'll end up now.

Would be happy to get Prismall but do not want to give up Lovett to do it.

Could be difficult if we do not want to go as high as pick 23 and they reject 39 then another club will swoop.
