Brad Miller is genuinely hard as are Moloney, Sylvia, Maclean and Whelan. Neita can crack the odd collarbone too.

My theory is that the Magguires are generally incompatible with talented players.

Miller has some hardness about him, I'll give you that. Moloney, Sylvia, Maclean and Whelan, average.

Neitz on the other hand is about as hard as a fresh junket sandwich.

As far as your theory about the maggies goes, lacks all credibility sorry. :thumbsu:

Why do Melbourne trade all their hard nuts anyway? Peter Walsh (p.s thanks guys!). Scott Thompson and now Armstrong, I guess Brent Moloney's next?

You nong. Walsh was slow and old and we would rather see him play at Port than Sandy. Scott Thompson ran away himself (yes, I am bitter, but you wouldn't trade Salopek for him last year so now who looks stupid?) and Armstrong is anything but a hard nut. Pretty nancy boy, yes. Hard-nut, no.

Walsh rip's ********. He is far from slow.

Walsh is alright, but nothing more than an average AFL player. He wanted to go home and has been good for Port. Good on him his time was up at the MFC.

Er, Adelaide.

Would take Salopek over Thompson any day of the week.

Then you are an idiot. He would have been very handy in your horrible midfield. Salopek couldn't even crack it for a game, Thompson would have started in the middle every week.

Wait and see, bud. Salopek is two years younger and his class will see him rise well above that braindead thug.

i can't believe this. I hate Scott Thompson now, but surely you can see his value is considerably above that of Salopek. Surely after a superb season you can see that boy can really play.

Can't you?

Yeah, because I'll just agree with the consensus without having an opinion of my own.

Oh, no, you can have an opinion. Just some people like to justify opinions, as it makes them a more effective tool of debate.

What you have is assertion.

Collingwood right?

Hardness shown in the 2003 GF by Richie Cole and Rhys Shaw?

Vice Captain A.Rocca who had to call Mummy to Sydney because he was wasting away, unable to get his head around how to use an oven, a stove, a microwave or a phone to call for food?

Home of one Dane Swan, brought to tears by an Adem Yze onslaught on QB this year?

For the record, Peter Walsh didn't ask to go home. When Danny Ward asked to be traded and no suitors were found (after the Jolly + Ward for Daniel Harris + pick deal fell through with North), Port asked for Peter Walsh's availability. Walshy agreed to go as Daniher wouldn't give him a decent run at Melbourne. He never asked to be traded home.

Melbourne hasn't had a genuine hard player since the last time Carl Ditterich played for them.

If they get Pickett, it won't work and it won't last. ;)

Come on Ryan Lonie identify yourself big guy
