Water co's and SEQ water waited until everyone complained before admitting yeah it tastes like the bottom of a dam because of all the rain - it happens every summer.

No it doesn't happen every year. Nobody I know or online has ever tasted it this bad.

Somebody screwed up.

During the 80s when CUB went on strike every Christmas, the beer used to get brewed in Brisbane and trucked down to Vic. It always tasted shit and I reckon it was down to the water used.

When Courage announced they were moving some of their operation from Reading to Tadcaster all of a sudden their Best Bitter which was usually a dream to keep became really temperamental and it turned out the brewers not happy about either moving up North or losing their jobs weren't washing the vats they brewed the beer in and at one point there were as many dray wagons going round the south east picking up bad beer as delivering it.
