I mean, just rip the band-aid off , build a new stadium and sell the Gabba. If that is what your review has stated...Perth and Adelaide did it right.
The fact that Miles was already making plans before the review was out is all you need to know. The guy hasnt picked the best option, he has picked the option he deems will cost the least politically. A gutless pollie is the worst pollie.

As for the size, 6-7 years ago, Brisbane was lucky to get 20K to a match when they were poor.
You want a full stadium, with the majority of the seats filled for every match. That costs less and builds a better atmosphere and with added FOMO. 50K is fine. That is a good solid number for both AFL and cricket.
