5 wins 1 draw 19 losses.
Win percentage = 22%.
Last win - 2009.
Current streak - 8 losses.

Take out the Bears record and it's 2 wins 1 draw 13 losses with a win percentage of 16%.

2009 was the last time Brisbane beat Richmond away from QLD, and Brisbane's average losing margin against Richmond since then in games played away from QLD is 34 points.

Gold Coast have had no issues beating Richmond away from QLD, having done so multiple times in recent years, so why do Brisbane struggle so much against Richmond outside of QLD?

Well firstly here are the Lions ladder positions from 2010 to 2018 - 13, 15, 13, 12, 15, 17, 17, 18, 15. Pretty average stretch. Other than that though, we went through a period of getting 1xMCG game a year and a decent MCG losing streak. Since 2019, Riewoldt, Dusty or Lynch always seem to kick a bag against us. Riewoldt will do nothing for a month and kick 6 against us, it's happened a few times. Grimes was a perfect match up for Charlie. We have a good record at Marvel, not the MCG as much. Some teams just match up well over others. A few years ago they played at the MCG and it was the biggest H&A crowd for an interstate team (ever). Even though we lost it was a great day.

We only play them at the Gabba this year.
