Brocks 'Tree' Cut Down

The Swan Shire have cut the tree that Brock crashed into due to safety issues.

Should the spot, isolated as it is, have a memorial placed there or should Bathurst , his spiritual home be the place to remember him?

Probably not a good idea to put a memorial right in that exact spot if they had to remove a tree due to safety issues. God, imagine if somebody crashed into a memorial.

I think Bathurst would be the best place - as you said, spiritual home and all. Plus more people go there and can pay their respects or whatever.

No.The tree was chopped down because people were stopping there and causing traffic dangers to others.A memorial in the same spot is going to cause the same problems.

Poor tree. In light of this information, a memorial in that spot isn't going to hurt then. I still think if they're going to do it then Bathurst is probably the best place for it.

They have moved the temporary shrine about 150 metres away....

maybe that would be a good spot to have it?

I think there should be one here and one in Bathurst...
