Scene with Holt at the bar with Scully and Hitchcock :D

Holt's monologue was brilliant.

Plus Terry taking his headphones on and off at the silent disco :D

Such a pity this has gotten lost on SBS. Second season is delivering.
This was on SBS?!

I don't know why I started this show but I did. Polished it off, until I was up to date, in about a week. It's not my type of show, or comedy, at all. The characters are all plastic and one-sided. They have no roundness to them, they're all just one-dimensional and you can predict how every episode will go (just like House): Parelta needs to work harder, has some sort of (maybe forced) revelation and it comes together and he susses the crime... and even if he doesn't, he comes out a winner: he's learnt a lesson. Boyle will be the guy who sets up the dunks for Parelta and will be mocked for being geeky and lame and needy, while Santiago will try and impress that staunch but deep-down cuddly officer, while that other Puerto Rican girl acts loveless. It is so formulated. I don't understand how characters can be so thin.

It's a shame because I like Andy Samberg (his SNL stuff is rubbish but so is that entire show). The Lonely Island had a great turn of phrase and understood pop culture so well, they knew just talking about it was enough to parody it (unlike this cringey trend of going over the top and milk out stereotypes to demonstrate and take the piss). And he says some pretty funny stuff in it, it has some charming moments and I like him in it, but this show is very boring and bland and from the Parks and Rec, Community school of Stuff I'll Never Dig.

Was half hoping the mole turned out to be one of Scully or Hitchcock, like maybe it turns out one of them is a super-smart villain who has been secretly infiltrating the precinct for years and was convinced everyone that hes dumb and harmless.. then again maybe a bit too full on for 1 ep!

Still would like a Scully/Hitchcock to be more involved in a storyline and not just there for 1 liners, could be gold.

Holt is the show MVP, would love to see the outtakes, would be amazed if they could keep it together for long during takes.

Show is firing on all cylinders at the moment. :thumbsu:

Holt bouncing across to the printer :p

Terry telling his brother-in-law the 4 sandwiches and the pie were for his boss.Next scene he's eating them all. :D

Bit of a crap ep otherwise.

BTW isn't Thanksgiving at the end of November ?
Odd they ran that ep this week [there's a new ep next week]
