Dear Brownlow God, I know I don't pray to you often, and sometimes I even doubt you exist, but if you can make the TAB put Frawley in one of these groups as short-priced fav again, well, thanks.

I am concerned we may see Jack and Boak in the same group. I don't think I'd be game enough to touch that group. Unless Frawley was favourite. I feel a little bit for Frawley, actually. I mean, I reckon he's a great player who's only going to improve, but from this year on, he's hopefully going to be the bloke I made a lot of money betting against, regardless of what he does...

That wouldnt be terrible if their in the same group, I have Jack polling 3 more than boak, jack has also had 3 clear BOGS in which his certain the 3.

I just called them up and they asked for my account number + pin number? didnt think i had to tell my pin number anyway i did
and the guy said they arnt being released until the 20th of september at 8:30? H2H and group votes, and they are currentlty set to reserved obviously that is Brownlow medal night lol? the guy had NFI.

Did you have to give them your pin number catfan?

just reviewing my bets from last year guys and you can definitely multi between group and team bets if there is no conflict in player choices as said before

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. It was confusing enough trying to balance outlay/risk/payout on team multis, this just opens up so many extra options

I suppose if there are no clear locks amongst the groups then this could come in handy, although I would really like to have some 'anchors' that aren't Thompson, Watson etc just to reduce the chance of a total wipeout even further

Oh man, i hope not. I'm skipping uni because i thought it was going to open at midday. Let's hope you're right and he has NFI :thumbsu:

They better come out today, I'm all set, just need some player names to fill the blanks and I'm away

Just on Boak-

2009: Polled in every game Port won and he had over 20 touches except 1 game where he had a 7 kicks and 23 handballs.

2008: His only polling game was a 28 touch game in a loss, this was his only possession count over 25.

Add to that that Boak has had a few games he has kicked 3 goals to go with 25+ disposals he is looking good. 6 games fit the criteria of a Port win and lets say 24+ disposals. Other good games include 25+ in 2 games, one that has 3 goals in Port losses and a 22 disposal 3 goal game in a win.

your making me more confident

I like all the Good news re Boak.

I woke up today and started feeling really nervous about J Volt winning Richmond's. I have him in up to 50% of multis and no saver on Deledio. I know that I can still get the savers on which means more outlay and risk but I have started getting concerned about Richmond's.
I am also more confident re Boak and very confident re Hayes and the other locks.

Anyone got anything to add to make me feel better or worse ???

stats wise lids has been worse, his played HBF last year he had more stats and played midfield and lost to richo.. doesnt poll well hows he going to poll from the backline?

Btw when u call up tab do they ask for ur pin BK? i found it odd since when im at the TAB they tell me not to give them my pin

I always thought the PIN was for telephone purposes, I've used mine over the last week. The guy on the other end didn't mention anything about a Nigerian fortune, or the Spanish Lottery, did he?

Also a bit concerned but not enough for me to start covering. Unless he's in 65%+ of bets I wouldn't personally cover. Can't think of anything worse then covering with Deledio @ $2.75 only to see someone like Tuck get up too!

$2.75 isn't quite good enough for me personally, he's $3.75 on Sportsbet (or Centrebet - I forget) if we could multi that I'd be more inclined to cover but I'm taking the risk for now. :thumbsu:

Everyone seems to be ruling out Tuck. Personally, I have Tuck on 10 (R10 - 3, R12 - 2, R13 - 2 & R18 -3). I am not confident he will win it, but I think he is as much a threat to Riewoldt as Deledio is. What do others have Tuck on?

Just got off the phone to Tab and after checking with the betting manager, lady let me know that there will be 10 groups, 5 players each ( already in the system, but blank) and head to heads. They will either be released tomorrow or day after. They have to finalise players in the groups before they release them.

She couldnt give me an exact day, but assured me it would be by the end of the week at the latest.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010 (Part 2)

Good work on this. I agrre that J Volt will knock over Deledio and I've used him in a fair few multis.

Maybe read this again? From an aesthetic point of view, Deledio is a fast running player but Richmond has plenty of speed so he may not stand out as much as people think. On the other hand J Volt is their only target up forward and is a high flying mark, really stands out. But it will be close as we know with the bottom few teams how their votes often may be surprising (eg. Richo last year).

for those confident that it will be a stk/coll or stk/geel grand final they are at 2.25 and 3 respectively, so a handy multiplier
