Brownlow not live?

According to the AFL.com.au Brownlow Tracker (http://afl.com.au/brownlow/index.htm) it starts at 8pm, yet it's not on TV in Melbourne etc. until 8.30pm... with the Red Carpet special on at 7pm... seems like a long time between red carpet & tv start time, is it not going to be live on TV? Surely not (I thought Ten had it not Seven )!

i think that the tracker is a radio broadcast and the radio broadcast may start before the channel ten broadcast...channel ten say it is live so it must be live

Ha not live, try livin in perth it aint live and on two hour delay, so they can stuff their telecast ill be just sittin on BF, get the result and then jump into bed at a decent hour.

when foxfooty existed i used to watch their telecast from outside the room.
it was live and better than radio,and heaps better than FTA in WA which delays everything ,sometimes they even delay the delay.

no hope of me ever sitting thru 3 hrs of counting votes when i already know the winner,rather watch paint dry.

if it was live at least there would be some suspense.

Yep a mate rang at 5pm so I checked my electronic program guide on Foxtel then and also now and it says

8.20 - 8.30pm Standby Brownlow Medal LIVE
8.30 - 12.30am Brownlow Medal LIVE (NSW, QLD, ACT)
