Isn't he a bloke who just belongs in the 70's you just have to love his demenour, so layed back & just speaks like a good country kid i reckon his a gem & anyone who loves to get on the piss like he does is a legend i saw it 1st hand at oaks day a couple of years back it was a scary sight.

Know what I really like about Browny......there's no bullshit!

There's no swan diving for frees, there's no taking a look over the shoulder to see if the Ump is going to give him a free (which rarely happens anyway) ....even when he gets absolutely molested!

There's no theatrics, apart from the occasional fist in the air if he kicks a particularly good one (which I'll forgive him for)......and there's no shirking it......EVER....even if he and/or the team are having a particularly bad day.

What was scary about it was he was coming in a at a very relaxed pace and was getting good bounce and pace and was getting Ponting at the height that is near impossible to do anything with. I know Brown was bowling to a man who hasn't played in 3 months, and there was not alot of light. But Ponting is the world bests batsman.

I have no doubt that Brown if he had taken up cricket would have been playing district cricket minimum. But aren't we lucky he chose Footy

Browny is my favourite non-hawthorn player. For exactly those reasons..He's an Old Fashioned(tm) footballer..Plays the game and makes the game!
