Relevant to his character.
Draft dodging puts him in the same league as 'bone spurs' Donny which is ironic seeing how hard he has railed against Trump.
Born in the USA indeed.
I suppose he got a hit tune out of it.
I see you’ve never listened to the lyrics of that song.

Anyone who can write the songs he has , perform them over fifty years for us to enjoy , relate to and inspire people is worthy of many accolades + .

Costly to keep buying records these days , more expensive then the CDs but Born in the USA special edition recent release might be an option .

Ah, so you've literally got no idea what the track is about.

Saw these couple of tweets on Spring-Nuts last week re a new doco about Nebraska.

40 years on, it seems that musicians - both young and old - are bigger fans of the album than most of Bruce's fans.

Massive Bruce fan .. can't believe I have only just become aware of this thread. Saw him in 2003,2013 & 2017. Have converted my 14 year old daughter who loves him. My top albums change regularly but at the moment I have Darkness, Wrecking Ball, Magic & Letter To You on constant rotation ... also disc three of Tracks is a fave of mine.

I'm a fan, and I like a lot of his albums, but my favourite has always been Nebraska.

I just found the thread now. I've only seen him the one time: at the Palais Theatre in 1997. I've been looking around for a few releases that I didn't get around to buying at the time and was just wondering what others in here thought about them. Specifically, Tracks, The Ties That Bind, the live in Barcelona set and the 1975 Hammersmith show.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
