Harsh. Mayne still has another three years to prove Hine right.
Reports suggest Mayne was Gubby Allens fault, not Hines.
Jeremy Howe in the leadership group says it all. Not even Mark Neeld was that silly.
It's obvious where the blame should go, to the list manager who has given him this rubbish to try and organise on the field.
Sack Derek Hine.
He'll survive then.
He has been good down back, but plays for himself rather than the team and I can't see him as a leader type.Again, not the fault of the Derek, which is the premise of the thread. Also, Howe has been great for us this year, not sure why his appointment is a bad thing.

Trolling aside, I think Bucks can coach...
He really does have a very shit list full of stat stuffers.
Not just the marks. Though he often goes for them when the spoil is a better option. And when he does grab them, often follows up with a poor disposal. Also a one way runner. But he has plenty of team mates in the same boat.Because he takes big marks? We would have been flogged more often, by larger margins without him. Missed him massively today.
Given it had nothing to do with the OP this honestly comes across as a jilted ex-lover kind of thing.

It's very relevant to the OP. Bucks has talent at his disposal, but the players are playing for themselves rather than for the team. The only thing remotely true here is the disposal, which I wasn't aware to be a leader you had to have elite disposal. Still, not at all relevant to the OP.

And you want defenders to have good disposal and not constantly turning the ball over in the oppositions forward line.
He was never placed in our leadership group for a reason, and even Dawes, Lumumba, Byrnes and Jordie McKenzie were given spots during Howe's time at the Demons.
That's right. Not Nafan's fault, no fault at all. He still has my tick of approvalIt's obvious where the blame should go, to the list manager who has given him this rubbish to try and organise on the field.
