With the Hawthorn's obsession towards its successor(Carlton) the Hawk's centurion has backed Carlton to be the big improver of 2009 and make the 8 in March's edition of the Foxtel guide. Surely with their own Buddy now backing the Blues, Hawks supporters can finally bring a halt to the senseless banter and accept eventual defeat.

Maybe not this year, but eventually. 2010, 2011? Not to say we can't beat them this year but Hawthorn are still the #1 side in the competition and not only will we have to meet Buddy's expectation of the top 8 but we will also have to start beating the top 4 sides in the competition.

Nev, Carlton will win the first time we play each other in 2011 - from 2010 we should be playing each other twice a year.
What I can't wait for is the second time we play you in 2013, you'll have a negative score. I can only assume that by then AFL would be deducting points for the "rusher" (rushed behinds), as opposed to extra points given to the "rushee".

Backing down. My original post just stated Buddy had tipped us to make the 8 and that we will eventually beat the Dawks. After some illiterate Dawk's fans misread and assumed I thought we would beat the Hawks and win the flag I simply reminded the Dawks that the word eventually could be this year, next year or the year after.
