Buddy contact with goal umpire?

Just saw vision of this on TV. What's the current rules/penalties for this? Do we have anything to be worried abt? I remember a few years ago guys were missing games from this but can't remember a recent case.

Seen umpires bowled over with no consequence so why would buddy cop anything when it was momentum carrying him forward and he put his hand out to protect the ump as much as to protect himself.

Personally I think most likely he will cop a fine. The guy reporting it said it will be looked at but I cant remember the last time anyone missed games for contact with umpire.

It's only the 3 most important men in game you can't touch. The poor goal and boundary umpires don't have the same rules apply to them

He's got no issue, incidental contact not negligent. You see that thing somewhere most weeks when a player kicks a goal from that angle, goal umpire didn't even blink on his way in, he knew it was part of the game.

The only thing they might look at is the aggressive motion to push off, AFL can get pernickety about things like that
