Dude is capable of the highest scores of any player playing the game right now, you all know he will have worked on his kicking, even a 5% accuracy increase could put him in the 120+ per week club.

Brown = better (262 ring a bell)I'd say this kid called Ablett is capable of the highest scores. (250 ring a bell)
He's 27. Only 1 year older than Riewoldt. Still well capable of scoring big. He has scored over 160 in every season recorded. Has 2 scores over 230.So what? Brown isn't capable of that anymore.. Ablett is.
Wait for the day where Buddy gets a run in the midfield and still kicks 12 goals. Ablett is totally amazing, but with goals being worth 8 points Buddy has the potential to score higher.I'd say this kid called Ablett is capable of the highest scores. (250 ring a bell)
Ablett is strong enough to carve any small back up that plays on him in the forward line as he has already shown at times when his gone forward in the Nab cup. This will only enhance his scoring even more as he stays on the park especially if he can snag a few goals when resting in the pocketI don't think Ablett is very good one out in the forward line, and I'll believe Bomber Thompsons comments after I see them.
Ablett will also be spending 25% of game time one out in the forward 50 this year. But anyway, its irrelevant.
I'll probably have Buddy at some stage, I personally won't be starting with him, though.
Starting with Buddy, Ablett, Bartel, Judd and Cox. Hopefully the first 4 retain their prices and it pays off, even a drop of 50K each wouldn't really warrant the 4 trades to get them in later so better to start with them. As for Cox wether he goes up or down i've always had him from day 1!
I've never really understood that logic, I mean, you're gunna use the 4 trades to get someone in, aren't you?
lol.
i've had a quiet chuckle about this thus far.
the arguement of 'not wasting trades to get them in' only works if they will perform in the early rounds.
you're going to have to use trades to being 'someone' in when your cash cows mature.
thus my dilema now. i think judd will have a good season, however i think he is a first midfield upgrade candidate.
anyhoo.
back to buddy.. i'm tempted.. right now boomer and buddy are fighting it out for a spot in my team.
Same boat, right now i got boomer in my team, but i am really tempted to get buddy now after seeing his performance in his previous game.
the thing is he played against an Eagles side missing a few key players. even with those key players we're not exactly up there in the competition (yet ).. so his stats can be a little misleading.
however from all reports he looked very, very good.
then again by the same token his shit games will be worse than harvey's shit games so he would be a more likely upgrade target.
decisions, decisions.
I've never really understood that logic, I mean, you're gunna use the 4 trades to get someone in, aren't you?
Yes of course I intend to use them, my theory is If all things in fantasy land are equal and prices from last year remain the same, within 6 weeks I may be able to upgrade a Rich to a Goodes/K.Cornes type of player yet to get Ablett I may have to wait 9 weeks which means 3 more scores of 60s instead of potential 100s.
In doing this I am taking the risk of a price drop and others picking Ablett up for 500K, i'm also avoiding the risk of Ablett hitting 800K and not being able to get him at all and Goodes dropping to 400K.
It's all about risk vs. reward and we all have personal preferences as to where we take these risks. Perhaps now Spartan can stop chuckling at me cause I have feelings and he's going to hurt them.
