Don't know.....maybe I should aks him hey.

If you're going to hang ****, Lestat, then at least spell arx right, so people can understand clearly that you're having a go.

Otherwise it's you that looks stupid, not The Doctor.

How was last Saturday, anyway??

The Dogs need height and some strong bodied mid-fielders to give their kids time to fill out. The Pies can provide some strong bodies types but like most clubs we have very little height to offer.

If they get it right they could challenge for the 8 next year, get it wrong and the club could be in real trouble as supporters might walk away in disgust if they get robbed.

lol...sorry. I didn't think 'arx' was a word, however, thanks for clearing that up for me. Trust a bulldogs supporter to know the spelling of the word ;)

Quite devastating....never good to see you team in a grand final, and put in such an insipid performance.

When was the last time your team was in a grand final dogman??? To busy winning wooden spoons hey ;)

Put it this way, lestat, as least we won a trophy this season. It may be wooden, but we WON it, fair and square!!!!!

While it may not sound impressive, keep in mind that this trophy will allow us to pick up the most exciting young player in the country, and the best uncontracted player in the Pre-Season Draft. Sure, it's not something I want to win every year, but you have to take the good with the bad

Thank you for highlighting all that is bad with the AFL at the moment.

Your team won the wooden spoon, yet your 'celebrating' about picking the most exciting young player in the country.

Well done....thats lots to be excited about?

You must be looking forward to next season hey....with a bit of luck, you might win another wooden spoon. That'd be great hey.....you could get excited again over 'picking the most exciting youngster in the country'.

Gee...your feeling excited, and I'm still hurting over another grand final loss.

I wish I could be excited too......why can't we win the wooden spoon and pick the 'most exciting youngster in the country'

PS. Doctor....that was sarcasm....just in case it went over your head. :p

"Celebrating" and "excited" - your words, not mine. Just because we are going to get an exciting young player, doesn't mean I'm excited about it.

You may forget, lestat, that it was only four years ago that you were in the same position - and you can't tell me you weren't excited about getting Josh Fraser and looking forward to the upcoming season.

I'm more excited about the possible talen that could be at our dispersal for the upcoming season - bring back Grant and Alvey, get a player of quality in the Former 17 trade, and use what we were given as the worst team in the league to try and improve...the way the AFL designed it.

If not for 1999, Colligwood would have not been in the last two Grand Finals, lestat, remember that. That's why you got Malthouse, that's why Eddie took over, and that's when things started happening for your club.

Hmmmm someone must have a very short memory, what was it 4 or 5 years ago that Collingwood was in this position.

Does this fact make u;

1) Stupid,
2) A collingwood supporter (I know 1 and 2 are very similar) OR
3) A bandwagon Pies supporter??

No I haven't forgotten at all...the Unshaw years.

PS....its Lestat....with a capital L ;)

and you can't tell me you weren't excited about getting Josh Fraser and looking forward to the upcoming season

Yeah...I was. However, I assure you I would not have bragged about picking up the number 1 youngster in the league if some smart a*s*s opposition supporter (like myself) was giving me a hard time about getting the wooden spoon. In 99 I swallowed my pride (the little left of it there was) and accepted we were crap.

And I definately did not give Carlton S*h*I*t in 99 about losing the grand final.

I would not be asking Carlton how the grand final was....after winning the wooden spoon. Which after all, is exactly what you did.....

How was last Saturday, anyway??

YOu sound pretty reasonable....I'm sure you can see that its a bit rich for the wooden spooners to be asking the losing grand finalists 'how was last saturday?.

Well i didnt think that aks was a word either, but u had no trouble using it.

lol...another goose comes out of the woodwork.

Seriously dude....are you really that dumb...or are you just pretending.

When I used 'aks' I was taking the p*i*s*s.....you know....a certain famous past bulldog player famous for using the word. I wasn't using it myself....geez you lot are dumb. I'm guessing you've been on street talk.

well done, another thats totally embarrased yourself. Any more bulldog supporters gonna have a go at me for using the word 'aks'. :D

lol....is that a fact is it.

Your level of wit is amazing....how can i compete

yes and when another member told u to at least spell it properly HE was taking the **** out of YOU.:p

Yet u seemed unable to fully comprehend that point.

lol....is that a fact is it.
Well actually I couldnt be bothered checking up on the history and was just making a point that u were crap not so long ago. I could have just used ur brilliant
'When was the last time....' but i thought i would just narrow it down a bit.

Lestat - Yet another Collingwood supporter who thinks the world revolves around them.

Josh Fraser, Alan Didak, Taz? All early picks thanks to an unsuccessful season.
The 3-peat premiers have also benefited from the draft with Leppitsch,C.Scott,Power in their side, all early picks.
Fact is Brisbane are the premiers and 15 other clubs are not and they have to work hard to make up the ground on the best with picks and trades.
Brisbane have done it brilliantly not just with early picks but with late picks and shrewd trades.
Not happy about finishing last but Brisbane did in 1998 and they are the bench mark and must be admired for turning it around in just a short period of time.

ah yes sarcasm, the lowest form of wit.

Was hoping for something better. Never mind.

Clearly you possess an attribute in greater quantity and of greater quality than anyone I have seen on these boards. It is called stupidity. :p
