Yeh the plunger/ french press is a bit tedious and can be a mess to clean up but it does deliver a good cup of joe!

I have plunger and a Saeco coffee machine at home and a plunger at work, I cannot live without a quality coffee nearby! BP coffee every morning before school and I am fine until lunch at 1.20 without eating. If you are struggling with your BP coffee, experiment with the amount of each ingredient you add until you get the consistency and flavour you enjoy.

All this coffee talk. Yawn. According to this: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Bulletproof_diet a big part of the diet is Modafinil. That's one of my favourite drugs in the world, and trust me... I love drugs. Where are you guys buying yours from? Onestopmed seems to be the most popular place, but I'm looking for a place that accepts either credit cards or paypal (not bank deposits).

Any ideas?

I've never heard of Modafinil

Ahhh... nope, that's not the real thing. That's the natural alternative. I don't trust the natural stuff. I want the chemicals, please :)

You can read more about modafinil here: http://boldanddetermined.com/2012/06/11/the-real-life-nzt-48-from-limitless/

I can get it online and from my dealer but I'd rather not **** around with bank transfers and dodgy

Hmm. I can't edit my post above.

I can get Modafinil through onestopmed but I'd rather a place that uses paypal, as online banking is a pain with my account...

I don't think that you should use bank deposits to buy things from the internet - only paypal and c cards as I know someone who was burnt using bank deposits buying a camera lens and the banks couldn't do anything on the basis they deposited the cash in an account (or something like that)

Have you tried the natural stuff? I'm going to try the natural stuff but want to try the chemicals too now...

Total superdrug it seems and sounds perfect for me.

Onestopmed works out to $2 a pill, and I only take a half. Even at that dose it completely destroys the bodies ability to sleep and lasts for over 12 hours, so you need to be careful, but otherwise it's brilliant. Having tried the real thing, I can't imagine anything similar in the natural world. I imagine it's the difference between Valerian and Valium for a sleeping aid.

I'd be super careful depositing money usually, but it's a trustworthy site (assuming what you are importing is legal). I've used it, and heaps of my friends have too. Unfortunately I need to visit my bank personally for deposits and was wondering if there was an easy alternative.

Sorry for the thread hijack everyone!

Yup. It's payment methods are e-check (whatever that is) and wire transfer, which is even more of a **** around than bank transfers or my drug dealer!

Looks like walking 40 meters to my local bank will have to be the way :)
If its legal whats the big deal?

Interesting just reading about it, nootropics appears to be just as good.

Well, it's a prescription drug, so buying it without a prescription and importing it from overseas is somewhat of an issue. It has to get past customs and I can confirm onestopmed do everything they can to make this happen; the package comes with a fake prescription made out just for you. I haven't tried buying Viagra from them (yet) but I've never had a problem with anything else.

No one I know has used the website you've suggested and it looks a little suspicious, don't you think? It's poorly written and doesn't appear to actually sell modafinil (it just links to another site that sells it).

This is all aside from the point, anyway. I just want a website that sells modafinil via paypal so I don't have to walk 40 meters to my local bank branch. A local supplier would be even better, too: $2 a pill is fine (200mg), but it's always an anxious wait from onestopmed. Alternatively, I could use my local chemist, but they sell it for $105 for a pack of 30 (100mg). And of course, I'd need a prescription first. Which I obviously don't have.

Interesting just reading about it, nootropics appears to be just as good.

I don't know what this means. Modafinil is a nootropic..? If you are referring to the natural supplements that mimic modafinil, I doubt they're going to come even close. For one thing you can stay awake on modafinil for 48 hours without getting even remotely tired (it's prescribed for narcolepsy, amongst other things). As for the other effects; concentration, focus, etc... I imagine it's much like Valerian vs. Valium, Caffeine vs Meth...

I vote for better living through chemistry ;)

... Oh, and cheers for the link you posted!

Not a hijack at all.

Out of professional curiosity i will try the natural stuff though. I'm trying to think when would be appropriate to take a chemical one given that i try to get a good nights sleep every night.... hmmm. Does it make you wired or just awake?

Jumping off the miracle coffee drink? I was just about to board that bandwagon....

Yes was making me feel really sick in the mornings. Having the upgraded black coffee by itself works much better.

that Modafinal actually sounds pretty effective. Hadnt head of it before
neither had i, thanks wtl. I'll start with the natural stuff next time i make an order from optimoz.

I've given up the BP coffees, frankly they made me feel sick. Anyway, i've taken to black upgraded coffee.... I love it... The upgraded coffee is delicious. I can't drink other coffee anymore as i can taste the toxins. My friend made me a coffee the other morning and it was awful in comparison to the upgraded coffee i've been drinking.

Good on you for trying to get as healthy as you can but it may be of more benefit taking on a lifestyle/meal plan that is convenient, effective and most importantly sustainable. I mean no offense by this at all, but it appears that you may be adopting fitness phases, meal programs and short -term (e.g. 30 day) detox's that aren't sustainable, as outlined by the constant switching from eating habits/plans.
My advice would be to find a plan that works and that can be sustained through the entirety of your life, and is accommodating to the occasional meal out, drinks with friends, etc, and is not so restrictive and unsustainable for longer periods of time.

Thanks for the advice metcard but you're actually off the mark. I've been in the process of changing my eating habits for 9 months. I'm still finding my way around paleo and what works but this is most certainly not a fad for me, it's a lifestyle. I gave up sugar and wheat in June last year, then phased out spelt etc. At the moment i'm doing a whole30 detox in order to reintroduce dairy and wheat etc and determine how i respond to them.

In summary, thanks for your concern and advice but i got this one under full control :)

And as for exercise, i have always been active :)

Good stuff so far then. But the fact that its only been 9 months helps to re-iterate my concern because that is an extremely short amount of time, especially to give up things like sugar, wheat, spelt and dairy. You may find restricting/reducing them to be more effective long term? Also as you said the whole30 detox is being used to reintroduce dairy & wheat back in to your diet after a short time of excluding them (9 months max), wouldn't it be better to just reintroduce them to whatever you anticipate your normal diet to be in the future rather than what it will be for 30 days on this whole30 detox and see how it goes?
