I think the Bulls need to make a move to get over the top like the 2010 Cavs did. Is there an Antawn Jamison-like player they could trade for? Or Antawn Jamison himself?

Not sure if you've heard but that didn't exactly work out for the Cavs.I think the Bulls need to make a move to get over the top like the 2010 Cavs did. Is there an Antawn Jamison-like player they could trade for? Or Antawn Jamison himself?
No way do we trade for Howard
You would have to tear apart the team and we are already a massive shot to win the championship. Noah had a triple double the other day and is a huge asset.....and no way would I be letting deng go
I say no trade
We kept winning with rose, deng and Hamilton out for extended periods
When we have our starting 5 of deng, rose, Hamilton, boozer and Noah all playing for a few games in a row we will beat miami
Deng does offer us something in clutch situations though which we wouldn't get through Dwight, and gutting the team to get one player would do us more harm than good. I just hope Rip is ready to go at the end of the season because we gain another scoring option there.
The Heat are looking very good, but there is still a long way to go randy. I just hope the teats have peaked.. even though in the Playoffs with rest days and the like they will be a tough beast to stop.
Would love to get rid of Boozer even without getting Dwight so that wouldn't be a problem.
I don't understand this, maybe his contract isn't the best, but Booze is playing quite well and him and Noah are finally working well together
I also don't agree that the Bulls can't get past Miami. Miami are favourites right now, but the Bulls are playing well and still haven't got Hamilton up and running.
I think Miami showed last year they had Chicago covered when it came down to the crunch and LeBron crushed D-Rose when it mattered.
One year on and essentially coming in with the only change being an aging Rip Hamilton, I can't see them beating Miami in 7 again when Miami have become a refined, smarter unit.
Are you going by stats or do you watch the games? Boozer is getting his stats against terrible teams and completely disappearing against the good ones. Teams like Miami and Indiana are too tall and athletic for him and constantly block his shot, and then he loses confidence in his jumper. To make things worse he allows layups on D. You've probably never seen a worse team defender.. maybe ever.I don't understand this, maybe his contract isn't the best, but Booze is playing quite well and him and Noah are finally working well together

Not that I believe that Rip Hamilton means instant championship, you're underestimating just how fluent the Bulls offense was with Rip inserted.
Add to Boozer and Noah actually getting to play together (and playing well) more than last season, that's a huge boost to the Bulls chances.
The improvement in Lieutenant Deng is also something that needs to be recognised, especially when it comes to dealing with LeBron James.
Also the Turkish Hammer eats anything that enters the paint, really hurt when he went down last year.
Make no mistake, the Bulls can beat Miami in a 7 game series.
You have really taken the glass half full with all of the above but as a fan you have to be optimistic:
- The sample size is far too small to be making any conclusions of what Hamilton brings to the offense, but I acknowledge the upgrade from Bogans.
- Noah had a very average start to the season, Booz has been Booz. What is the big advantage? Miami still know who they are and how to get into them, physically with Booz, and mentally with Joakim.
- Luol Deng has been no better overall than last year or the year before imho but still a key ingredient to the Bulls. He has also missed games this year. Is he over those injuries?
- Will give you Asik. Key to the second unit's stingy D.
- Can't wait to find out. Would be huge.
