For those that understand what was the integral problem with the tigers over the last decade this theory would be valid:

Our basic problem has been that most of teams have had their fare share of no can do players. i.e. we have had the good ones, but when the ball has to be transferred to a not so good one or two, before it gets to another good one, you find it being ****ed up.
Tipping we will improve purely because with the exiting of most of the usual suspects. i.e. the next candidate chosen to fill the void of one of those usual suspects that filled all of us with pain and alcohol, over the stretch. The next influx of players to fill the void, only have to do what is asked and dont have to do the party tricks, and get the ball to the party tricksters, which we have, for us to improve.
This will be easier to do, purely because the shitness of the nuclear scientific method that Wallet was "trying" to preach, had ****ed with the players heads so much that when they would get it, and they had limited footy smarts, all the pythagoras theorems that were revolving in their heads, ended up = "TURNOVER". And the likes of Lids etc who had broken lines, created plays, done all the stuff that had set us up for another foray into the F50 wont have to sit there and say, FFS not again.

Summarising all that crap: We will improve by the process of elimination. ;)

or more likely for some different reason we will be served up another 10 years of crap. seems no matter what we fix there is always something that goes wrong. we are the proverbial kid with his finger in the dyke wall.

Addition is the key to this theory, just simply eliminating the not so good one or two is not enough, they must be replaced with players that can pick the right options and then hit the right targets. Recruiting skilled link men is our priority. Our history of poorly skilled link men is shameful.

So could we use the following formula...

PT+DHGP - (TWBS + Pythagorus Theorum) - DUDS + NSLDUDS = Improve

In long form...

Party Tricksters + Damien Hardwicks Game Plan - (Terry Wallaces Bull S**t + Pythagorus Theorum) - DUDS (JON, Cleve, Patto, Putt, Raines, Schultz, Coughlan, Brown, Johnson, Bowden, Pettifer) + New Slightly Lesser DUDS (Pick 19 onwards) = Improve??

you would not believe the improvement that can be made with the removal of the likes of Tivendale, Hyde, Raines and other members of the Keystone Cops and the inclusion of average players with basic skills and half a brain. Think about it..;)

Keerect!!!!! lesser duds is the key...the lesser the better. i.e. if player x = Tiv and Tiv = -4, then if(Player Y(lesser dud) > -4) then we have improvement. and if player Y just happens to > 0 then we have fix and so on. ;)

How many games did Raines, Tivendale and Hyde play this year?

not many....but they had their replacements in the Keystone Cops cast, in Simmo, Tuck etc..I mean Simmo put Fiora to shame in slapstick comedy there for a while. Anyway old foe....do you still have the betting ticket you took out on Hyde winning the brownlow back when? The elite was about to happen huh? ....sheesh....;)

Dude , like FFS , dude..like when we die do we like, haunt the sky or do we like, lurk in the murk of the seas? What then...like, are we born again, just to like, sit asking questions like these? NFI dude..;)

yeah, like party on dude! ;)

i get what you are saying, the main thing will be when our players are running hard and getting into a good position our skills will look like they have improved significantly

pretty sure that all the AFL teams have a basic grasp of end to end footy. Teams that cant master somet actical game plans when required are just going to get wiped week in week out. ie us. TW may have overestimated his groups ability to master his plans, but did make some inroads in his time. it werent rocket surgery, surely.

Unless they are Geelong, and good enough all over the park to practce tiddlywinks if they want and still win, there will be game plans and tactics. Would you prefer the team working to improve or playing to a nice, simple predictable plan school teams can master, and rely on the quality of the cattle?
