I tink that you will find that in the long term Hurley is being groomed to play the Fletcher role.

While Pears and Hooker have been great this year, they have a couple of years on Hurley. I would argue that our defence will be built around Hurley as the most important of the three.

Sorry mate but I have to strongly disagree with you there. He is cool calm and collected when he has the ball and makes the correct decision everytime. Don't let his akward style fool you into thinking that he doesn't have a footy brain, watch him carefully, for a young kid he makes sensational decisions! Hence a great footy brain. IMO
