Easy to forget how good Fyfe was. All that and going a goal a game isn't bad is it?

Right?! Fyfe was insane. I mean, Serong is a gun but it's easy to forget just how good Fyfe was in his first 100 too. It's why I was looking it, out of curiosity.

I think the statement “Fyfe has a slight advantage in marking is one of the bigger understatements I’ve seen here”

Yes I know it’s the stats. Just shows how they don’t necessarily give the full picture.

It’s a real reminder of how good young Nat was. Serong has been an absolute jet.

Honestly, I had forgotten that was Fyfe’s first 100. Should’ve been 2 Brownlows as well, which is just mind blowing. And even then, he didn’t come in as a fully-fledged AFL player, just a skinny kid who developed incredibly fast

Not sure of your source but according to AFL tables Caleb is averaging exactly 26 disposals in his career (second highest ever for the club) not 23.

Sometimes you just can't fathom how good certain players are GOING to become. He is deadset a beast. Such a really great player already, and hard to believe how quickly his first 5 years in the system have flown by. Hasn't put a foot wrong (Serong, so right!) since arriving and has blossomed into a natural leader of the club, the ethic and standards are higher and more professional because of him and of course, with the benefits of hindsight, it's been amusing to see fellow posters original takes on his drafting: boring, too small and unimpressed!! Lol, shows you how much we're nuffies at the end of the day and have no clue without the aid of a crystal ball!! I think there's one thing we can all agree on now though, a future Captain of the club is in waiting with this impressive young man who speaks like a much....older man!! He is ridiculously amazing :D

Congrats on the 100 mate, bring another win to the column please. Here's to you, cheers! :)

:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping: Well said. A real bonus for the club.
Not sure that Fyfe and Serong can be compared. Two totally different players.

I have Serong in the top 5 for Brownlow this year. Plus while Fyfe was a bull and a high flying highlight reel, Serong is a clearance ninja hitting bullseyes by hand in the tightest of congestion, while being tackled, at the highest of speeds, time after time before he can be taken down by 1 or more oppo mids.
