+ Brent Reilly MRP?

The only replay they showed at the ground, it looked like he collected a head with a hip and shoulder at a centre bounce in the first quarter.

Strange that I would be disappointed to lose a guy who has played 2 AFL matches, yet wouldn't miss the one who has nearly 150 to his credit.

Looked like it but the replay showed that he only hit the shoulder, not the head.

He'll be ok IMO.

As for Callinan that happened at a boundary throw-in on the outer side - 2nd quarter I think. I noticed him make a quick grab at his hammy when turning to chase the ball. He played on for a little while after that which couldn't have helped the hammy at all.

Hopefully it's only a tweak and not a tear.

Would have thought the 2 weeks break will work wonders for both Dougy and Callinan, didn't look like really major injuries.

McKernan also copped a hamstring injury playing for the Panthers today.....Myke Cook reported for tripping in the same match!!

Whilst you dont want injuries, Douglas has hardly set the world on fire and if were holding our midfielders accountable should have been dropped by now.

What about Wrighty any word why he was subbed early? I didnt think he was too bad.

His output was a little down, so maybe we just decided to inject fresh legs? Otherwise, I would've thought he'd be exactly the type of player that we'd want to keep out there in those conditions against the Swans.

I thought he was really good last night before he got injured. Was one of a few playing instinctive, wet weather footy.

There have been plenty of opportunities this year to drop him.

Rds 7- 9 he had 16 possessions in each game. Against WB 14.

unlucky for both.

The play where Douglas hurt himself was a great bit of play. Desperate chase down and tackle.

Callinan is important for the balance of the squad. As well as Callinan's mongrel and desperation he is living demonstration to the younger players to value the opportunities that they are given, don't take AFL for granted, your time in the game is limited.
