I'm starting to believe that COD4 was never good and it's just distorted memories and it seemed good at the time because it was 'revolutionary' in a sense.

Finally they throw us some more maps in an extra download.
I think im in the minority that likes this game, i know what most of you already think of it.

Only just picked this up due to the discount at JB.
Seems really weird now, all the maps are very open and it's sooooo much slower than newer cods.
SMGs are basically useless for me now which is jarring as they are my go to normally

Decided to give the Infinite Warfare single player a crack so i could feel like i at least got a bit better value out of this package and was completely surprised....in a good way!
The developers of Call of Duty must have stopped paying the internet reviewers for positive press because in my eyes the single player is the best CoD campaign since Black Ops 1.
While it clearly isn't in the ball park of an Uncharted it was definitely a highly entertaining 7'ish hours that i'll likely revisit just to finish all of the side missions which is something i almost never do in single player games.

Also decided to give the MP a quick shot to check out how the new maps (bloc etc...) look on the remaster and joined a game almost over and was almost instantly reminded why i don't play this anymore.

Think it's just a way to keep interest high - you play and get credits then redeem them for supply drops and can get camos or characters or emblems or calling cards. Pretty useless imo

Just to add to this, when you get duplicates of these items they convert into salvage. Salvage can then be used to craft new guns and melee weapons that aren't part of the standard weapon classes.

Salvage is also when something old and discarded is refurbished to re-use and/or re-purposed for a different use.

Currently replaying it in the campaign to get the Plat
Only need to finish the campaign on veteran which i only have the last two missions, run the FNG in under 15 seconds, Get the Cache at the start of the mission Heat( did it the first time, but the trophie didnt pop, not sure what i did wrong) Finish One shot One Kill on Veteran (cause i got to the end in the final shootout by the ferris wheel at Chernobyl and couldn't get McMillan to the chopper without dying)
Get a kill with every Gun (Fairly certain I only need 2 more guns, The silenced P90 in all Ghilled up and an MG in the last mission)
So close, i just need to push through, considering earlier in the week i had about 25% of trophies done from when i first got the game and couldn't even get through "Hunted" on veteran.
