The Haymaker. Holy shit...
Those Safeguard games on Nuketown were ludicrous - think I ended 65-60 or something silly. I don't blame you for hanging around that one corner, everyone who rushed out got their arses kicked.connections were better last night , still suck in a party but solo was much better and the yank lobbies were happening a lot less.
with the playlist change from nuketown to chaos moshpit you can now easily find a lobby that is constant domination nuketown as everyone just keeps voting for 'previous' over and over.
I am sure that wasnt Treyarchs intention with the change but its bloody awesome... had some really good games on nuketown last night
Agree the abilities are certainly overpowered but I think its redeeming feature is that everyone has to have it. It's not a One Man Army deal where there's just one person exploiting something. If someone's irritating you with Gravity Spikes or a Scythe (which kills way, way too quick) or anything else there's no reason you can't choose it as well without compromising the rest of your class. The only thing that's a real bummer is the Specialist stuff. It really works to undo all the good that's been done by Treyarch in re-balancing the game. The Scythe is ludicrously overpowered, the spike melee things undo the general melee combat as you get idiots just jumping around everywhere trying to do a ground pound, the one shot revolver is just as dumb as anything else, glitch just doesn't fit with MP concepts and invisibility is the worst thing ever when it comes to MP games. They really need to nerf these into near non-existance and then the balance comes back.
I don't mind that it's something that can be used as well, but my biggest issue is that it un-balances the aspects that Treyarch have seemingly worked so hard to improve. When someone gets the scythe they change how they play suddenly. They're sitting in a corner, just watching everyone come by and blasting them away. It just see's people undo the good work that's been done because all of a sudden you're changing how you play as you don't want to lose this overpowered ability.Agree the abilities are certainly overpowered but I think its redeeming feature is that everyone has to have it. You forgot crashed helicopterswhat has happened to COD, this space jumping running on walls is shit. What ever has happened to a street map with run down cars and fires and sneaking up to campaigners and knifing them, now its just running and spraying and they have replaced the knifing with fisting campaigners
