This all happened on BB's watch - many on here could see the rot setting in, all the old guard like Joseph, Pagan and CMac could see it as well.

Unfortunately for BB he was not in Melbourne on a day to day basis - he wasn't in touch with the heart and soul of the club.

He thought Bard was the best thing since sliced bread and nothing could go wrong .....then BANG - the start of 2019 saw it all implode.

The good news is though BB is going at a fast pace to correct his previous failings ...and is doing a good job thus far.

And the heat came and Buckley has acted.
I think hes fair and gave employees within the club time and space to perform and since they havnt he has acted.
On one hand we dont want a callous and over-reactive President and we also dont want a comfortable one.

It should be noted what has happened off field over the last ten or so seasons. VFL side, Arden St upgrade, 40,000 members and the words we all hated have disappeared; "cash-strapped". So be noted is all.

I'd love to know which Board member was the one who said, "**** this and stop" Or words to that effect, that of course started the downfall of the then current incumbents.

I also asked is the the first time a GM and coach had presented to the board with their future plans and was told yes, it isn't normal course of action.

Also Macmillan was certain he'd be straight back in the side, times have changed ay.
