Look on balance of play, they deserve their lead, but geez they got looked after a lot by the umpires in that first half, Rohan should have been pinged at least 4 separate occasions for holding/dropping the ball.
But yes the main bored Geelong posters really are overly defensive and precious when it comes to the dicey subject of umpiring..

what a lot of nitwits don't understand is that the location of free kicks is far more impactful than the amount you're getting. if you're getting 5-6 every week inside f50, you're likely to win, since they're freebies (unless you're the bummers) and getting a ton of sketchy defensive ones prevents scores.

Imagine when our senior players decide to get fair dinkum in this game.
Look I know Carlton gets a lot of charity too (esp last night) but what annoys me about Geelong is they get a lot of goals or scoring opportunities from inside their foward 50 from stoppages or ball spilling out from when one of their players gets tackled and should be pinged for HTB, but don't.
And on the other end, I think Larkey was very stiff not to be awarded at least 2 free kicks from near the goal square.
Larkey was also very stiff last week vs us too, Clarko probably needs to sit down with the all's umpiring directors this week and ask for an polite explanation.
