We need to put out an urgent APB on danster168 last seen heading south very rapidly on Dead End Argument Street, wearing Melbourne Football Club apparel with more front than Myers and number 31 on the back. He is unarmed but also no longer has a leg to stand on. Highly likely to be muttering to himself. Please do not approach him with a rational argument, this will not work, I repeat, will not work.

I believe he lives permanently on Dead End Argument street, makes sense he was heading that way, might be best to start looking there. Although let’s be honest no one is going to look too hard.

He has the 81st highest average performance of any player to play 10 or more games in 2024. That is now firmly inside the top 5 in an average AFL team. He has risen steadily from in the mid 200's about 2 months ago to 81st now so that is some run.

Rayner is the 6th highest rated player in Brisbane's team in 2024. danster168 may have noticed that Brisbane is currently sitting second on the Toyota AFL Premiership ladder 4 weeks out from the regular season ending.

Rayner is the 5th highest rated general forward(excludes only key forwards)in the AFL in 2024.

And he is the 7th highest rated specialist AFL forward in 2024.

He is now the 10th highest rated 25yo(players turning 25 any time in 2024, the natural draft year 2017) in 2024. And the 11th highest rated player from the 2017 draft including mature age draftees in that renewal of the NAB AFL Draft.

Rayner is the 3rd highest rated player who is not a ruck or midfielder from the 2017 draft.

If Rayner plays 4 more matches like the last 4 to finish the season, he will rise up all those parameters a bit further yet and start to look like a player well worthy of a very high draft pick. It must be remembered some of Rayner's most damaging pack crashing work wouldn't even be credited statistically.

Jokes aside, pleased to see such a talented player playing so well. It will be good to watch him in finals, he played one terrific final last year, but the Lions will be wanting him to go to another level this year.
