:) Think back to the beginning of last year when Cloke was up and going (particularly that backhanded flick to Stevo against the Bummers), we looked ok in the ruck and were winning games. When Cloke went down with a shoulder, our ruck stocks dropped right away and we started getting towelled up out of the centre.

I see Cloke as important an addition as Judd and Stevo. He is the bash and crash ruckman that we need. He will only get better as the season goes on and will allow us to develop Kruezer, the Hammer and Aisake without having to resort to Hackland.:cool::cool:

Watch Cloke get stuck into White this weekend and give our midfield a pretty good ride.

Can you feel the giant stirring.

How about Hadley!! what a gun!!!!

What I admire most about Cam is the way he has worked hard since he first arrived at the club. He came from Collingwood with an ordinary reputation in relation to his commitment to the game. From day 1 at Carlton, he got himself into shape & has done everything asked of him. There is no doubting his passion & commitment to the Navy Blue, demonstrated by him regularly 'flying the flag' when any of our players come in for some attention from the opposition.

We all initially thought he would be a stop gap player until we could develop some quality ruckmen, but I would like to think that he will be an integral part of our push towards our 17th premiership. If he keeps working as hard as what he currently is, there is no reason why he couldn't be a long term Carlton player.

Who would have thought a couple of years ago that supporters of the Carlton Football Club would be fans of a member of the Cloke family?

I'm going to get shot down but ...
Look you cannot doubt the guys endevour or attitude but his football smarts and mobility, I have a big problem with. I think if he survives beyond this year, probably will, it will be to support Hampson, Kruezer, Aisake or Jacobs until they are ready to take the no.1 ruck spot.
Don't get me wrong, as I said gives his all but would be extremely suprised if he consolidated a spot in the side when we are top4.
He plays a bit like his old man but with better foot skills. I love him in our team and can see him being around for a very long time.

Cloke has worked his arse off every game this year, his smarts are underrated, he is so often in the right place at the right time around the ground and often gets clear and in space due to his hard running. Often presenting to recieve off half back.

He's one to watch (when at the game) before he gets a possession, leads long and hard and gives an option around the ground. Works damn hard, gives 100% and definatly earns my respect.

Doesn't dominate center square ruck hit outs but competes hard, doesn't let his opponent direct the footy, makes you realise just how bad
Ackland really is.

Will need to play CHF better if he's to make the journey. ;)

No doubting his attitude has been top shelf since coming to Carlton.:thumbsu:

I think that it was somewhere about the time when he got cleaned up, tried to get up to chase his opponent, fell over, got up again and fell over again...

Showed a huge amount of guts

Very happy with him, has a lot of ticker. He seems to be a very confident young man which will take him a long way.

We have some genuine gutsy players in the midfield now with Murphy,Hadley,Cloke,Kreuzer & Juddy.

I agree Surry. Yes, he gives his all but i cant see him being a long term fixture for Blues. We have a very promising ruckman in Hampson and Kreuzer will be a permanent fixture for the next 10 years. Aisake looks like he is developing nicely as well, and he and Hampson are bigger than Cloke.

He has a head start on Hamspson and Aisake at the moment, but im tipping by the end of the year he may well be a depth ruckman - all be it a good one.

Funny how I threw his name up when he was first delisted and nearly got my head taken off by everyone.
In all honesty I wonder why the Pies got rid of him before Richards

Bloody good call, mate. They must have been overly spooked by his shoulder/s.
