That's the problem with Geelong. Over the years, their supporters have lauded 'hard men' like Hocking, Mooney, Rooke, etc, who are nothing more than your common garden variety of snipers.

Dont think I can ever remember Rooke sniping anyone he is lauded for his attack on the football more than anything else.

Hocking and Mooney probably fall into the same category as L.Matthews and D.Brereton as far as sniping don't they?

Not really. Mooney is not a sniper, he gets suspended for stupid things. He rarely lines up an opposition star and goes for them. He just has brain fades and whacks whoever's nearest.

Cam Mooney is one of the most overrated players in the AFL, which is quite strange considering most don't rate him above a some left over chips.
How he got AA's still amazes me.
