Reasons your bid should be selected: The unfortunate Toronto Thunderbirds franchise were to compete in the IFA until the management of the franchise and the competition came to an impasse over some undisclosed issues. This followed the franchise having to move from their original location in Cleveland after financial issues between the city and the franchise. The Thunderbirds who represent the strength and passion of the city of Toronto are a perfect fit for the Canadian-American Premiership as they are now battle hardened and prepared to show their passion for the game as well as for the city who allowed them to find a home.

Reasons your bid should be selected: The Anaheim Shooting Stars would be the glamour club of the Canadian-American Premiership, owned by a select group of famous figures the club will be based within the grounds of the Disneyland precinct. The club will represent the lifeblood of the Los Angeles region in its film and television production and as such will feature special themed nights around famous films and television programs. Also all proceeds from matches will be donated to charities represented by different celebrities who will be the teams mascot for the game.

Also, not specifically because of Haro's bids, but I am going to ask for those who have bod and given a silly, or waste of time reason to reconsider that. I currently won't ignore bids that do not have a decent reason (as due to numbers everyone who has bid should get one of their cities), but depending on the number of people who end up bidding and where they bid, those with answers that have 0 thought put in will have little chance in being selected.

For example (again not singling out Haro, it is just because his bids are the most recent) if Spanna and Haro were to have their bids for NY teams come up against each other for selection, Spanna would be selected without any second thought as he put in effort to say why that team should be selected, where as Haro's reason is because as he claims "I'm a Lad".

The reason I asked for a reason was not to give people more work, but to differentiate the bidding process from the other competitions of this type and to perhaps give people some inspiration for their designs as each and every person would have to think about their bid and how it would work/fit in to the city where it was located.

However I've opted to use the movie '8 Mile' and Eminem as inspiration for this bid, as it is how Detroit is perhaps most famously known today, and that just makes sense to me. This bid may seem comical, but it's not, I'd take it seriously, and you'll get good designs.
