I don't know all of those examples but I do recall the Hey Hey one. That particular performance doesn't compare IMO. The pushback against blackface is very much about similar contextual use of it in the past that had overtly racist content. Compare that to a film in which the changing of an actor's race through surgery for a role is examined through parody. It's opposite ends of the spectrum.
Outrage at RDJ's "blackface" in Tropic Thunder is the same line of thinking that say comedians can't make jokes involving trans or gay people (e.g. Ricky Gervais at the awards show). It's thoughtless crap as far as I can tell.

Doyle. Worth watching some of his media appearances. Usually a voice of reason, which is what comedians should be. They are supposed to be the jesters who shroud the uncomfortable truths with humour.
To be fair, Downey Jnr in that movie played the role of a white Australian actor portraying a black soldier through blackface. And it was to show the outrageous lengths his character would go to for a movie role. And his character is called out numerous times throughout the film for being offensive and taking a job away from a black actor. I think that's why Downey Jnr's blackface role escapes criticism compared to others in Hollywood.
