Getting fined for breaking the rules at a time when the entire rule was living by "the rules" is a fine because you didn't manage your shit right.

I find it completely incomprehensible that we are 5 years after that hub and we are still getting constant issues in these area's. Its been a pretty steady flow. $100k fines and we are still doing dumb shit

COVID pandemic, an unprecedented situation to deal with. All of a sudden players had to stay home and train, Dimma made some interview comment ~ wasn't dealing with the new COVID restricted reality. Gale goes up the hub too.

I was in FNC NSW so was able to go to games at Metricon. I tell ya this NM looked terrible on field, we were good.

The fine is fully deserved but 2 players out of 44 misbehave Gale is up there running it, hardly running amok.

AFL mustve read Damo's work & hit us with a soft cap fine. COVID fines could've been paid by the players.

Ideally I'd want Vlastuin but apparently he's not that way inclined. Not much to choose from due to demographic. Broad too old. Short barely best 22 and been downward trajectory a while now. If Lynch wasn't always injured...... for mine Taranto the best option. Solid citizen. Was phenomenal in 23. Injuries and our dreadful season cruelled 24.

You can’t have a captain who turns it over like him, it’s a momentum killer.

I’d have Timmy T with Broad as his deputy, but Nank hasn’t done much wrong and wouldn’t be surprised if he were to hang onto it for a couple more years. In a few years time with lots of hindsight we’ll probably say Nank was a shit captain because he has been skipper during a pretty bleak time on field for the club, but maybe it’s good that you already have someone there (who we know in the current is at least a decent captain) taking the hits before someone else comes in to take over as we turn a new leaf.

Nank ~ plays good tough footy. Not Max Gawn, but 3 flags under his belt, tackles with intent & like a mid when the ball hits the ground.
Reigned in the frees against. Had another really solid year.

I really rate Nank. 30 years old? The form stays as is, 2, 3 more years as Capt. be great.

Cotcb was young and lead well, I reckon we hand it to a Lalor, Smilz type.
